The Unspoken Kennedy Truth

Outside of the legacy media wasteland, many voices have long raised questions about the November 1963 assassination of US President John F. Kennedy.
One of the first to appear in print was WWII concentration camp survivor M. S. Arnoni: he wrote just weeks after the assassination, in his left-leaning magazine The Minority Of One, of the myriad inconsistencies and absurdities of the official version of the tragedy. Arnoni was joined by British intellectual Bertrand Russell, who further posited that the presidential murder could only have been accomplished by the collaboration of powerful interests in the media, military, intelligence agencies and government

Attorney Mark Lane was retained to represent deceased alleged JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald before the Warren Commission and published his highly critical book Rush To Judgement in 1966.
Eventually, a subterranean industry arose that saw hundreds (if not thousands) of sceptical books, magazines, LPs and documentaries produced.
This hive of activity precipitated its greatest incursion into a reluctant mainstream with the release of Oliver Stone’s Hollywood blockbuster JFK in 1991. JFK advanced the thesis that Kennedy was assassinated through the machinations of a cabal of faceless CIA, Military Industrial Complex and perpetual wartime economic interests (drawing, perhaps, on the thesis of notorious and supposed satire Report From Iron Mountain).
Throughout the post-assassination era a gaggle of theories (the Cubans, The Soviets, the Mafia, the Texas Oilmen, the CIA etc. etc.) and modus-operandi (the sewer-positioned assassins did it, the driver did it, the ‘Umbrella Man’ did it, the ‘Three Tramps’ did it, the Secret Service accidently did it et. al.) competed for prominence in the literature and various Dallas-based JFK assassination conferences and alike.
As elucidated by lawyer Vincent Salandria, in his excellent book False Mystery, all this noise ultimately achieved little and may have been in large part orchestrated, deliberately, to cloud the issue and deflect from the actual guilty parties and distract a weary public. It is also worth noting that, whatever agencies, institutions or interests may have had a hand in the original murder – it is only logical to assume that their decedents still hold sway and possess the necessary power to generate the manifold and continued clouds of relentless propaganda.
In 1993 journalist and writer Michael Collins Piper published his contentious book Final Judgement.
Pooling a large amount of circumstantial evidence, Collins Piper’s premise was that the hidden author of the assassination was, in fact, the security services of the state of Israel. The bastard cousin of all JFK assassination conspiracy books, Final Judgement was notable both for the silence it generated (to this day, almost all serious JFK researchers fail to acknowledge it even exists) and the reported fact that it sold around 100,000 copies through mail order, ‘under the counter’ and other alternate means.
In 2021 French academic and author Laurent Guyénot released The Unspoken Kennedy Truth (with a revised and expanded edition available from mid-2023) which builds upon, focuses and updates Michael Collins Piper’s original thesis. Guyénot weaves a compelling fabric of connexions, deductions and extrapolations that point to Israel having the motive, means and opportunity to be a major cog in the JFK assassination wheel.
Guyénot asserts that in 1963 the recently birthed state of Israel faced what it perceived to be an existential crisis. Surrounded by hostile Arab states, Israel had embarked on a desperate programme to stealthily (and quickly) develop a nuclear weapons deterrent. US President John F. Kennedy was strongly opposed to the programme and wrote tersely to Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion in mid-1963 that this path was ‘unacceptable’ to the US and, if Israel continued, it risked losing US strategic and military support permanently. Ben-Gurion resigned suddenly, before he could officially receive the letter and his replacement successfully stalled and avoided further US protestations until in late 1963 JFK’s successor (LBJ) appeared to essentially abandon the pressure.
There is considerable mainstream research that supports, at least in part, that narrative. Acclaimed journalist Seymour Hersch’s 1991 book The Samson Option documents in detail the 1963 exchange between Kennedy and Ben-Gurion. Likewise Avner Cohen’s 1999 Israel And The Bomb, Michael Karpin’s 2006 volume The Bomb In The Basement (and others) confirm copious details.
Many researchers have long pointed to the shady James Jesus Angleton as a potentially pivotal figure in the assassination. Angleton was the direct liaison between the Israeli intelligence agency (the Mossad) and the CIA and was alleged to have readily had the resources to sheep-dip Lee Oswald and construct his legend as unhinged Marxist dupe. Indeed, Angleton was even accused by other CIA personnel at one point of being a ‘Mossad operative.’ As noted by The Washington Post, upon his death in 1987, Angleton was honoured with a memorial in Jerusalem and a service that was attended by present and former heads of both Israeli intelligence agencies the Mossad and Shin Bet.

Guyénot also notes the deep connexions of Dallas mobster Jack Ruby (born as Jacob Rubenstein) who conveniently silenced patsy Lee Oswald. Ruby had, at times, been a lieutenant of mob chieftains Meyer Lansky and Bugsy Siegel, both of whom had reportedly pledged allegiance to the fledgling Israeli state.
Many other details are introduced, ranging from the shadowy activities and roots of international ‘trade group’ Permindex, to similar sinister anomalies in the 1968 assassination of JFK’s brother, Robert F. Kennedy (and even the untimely 1999 death of JFK’s son John F. Kennedy Jr.)
It is worth noting that, while it makes no direct mention of the Kennedy assassinations themselves, Ronen Bergman’s 2019 book Rise And Kill First: The Secret History of Israel’s Targeted Assassinations does establish political assassination as a foundational aspect of Israeli foreign policy.
Also, of special note, is the career arc of JFK producer Arnon Milchan, who later confessed to being a lifelong Mossad operative and deeply involved in the theft of US nuclear secrets.

While Guyénot’s meticulous research and final thesis might be compelling, it is not flawless. For example, it would be easy to argue that to maintain the mainstream media’s rigid Kennedy assassination fantasy over all these decades would require the intervention of a vast, international intelligence leviathan with essentially limitless resources, perhaps far beyond the modest capabilities of a small middle-eastern state.
Whether ultimately right or wrong (or partially right or partially wrong), surely we can at last summon the intellectual honesty and courage to at least consider (or even acknowledge) Guyénot’s case.
If truth is the goal, then all other considerations (no matter how expedient) must always be secondary.
