Did Trump Attack Iran to Block Reporting on the Epstein Files?

Would Trump take the risk of unleashing World War III by launching a large-scale attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran, in an attempt to erase his tracks in the Epstein files?

The timing of the attack on Iran is simply too coincidental, as it takes place just a few days after a new series of Epstein files mentioning Trump was made public.

Trump’s war against Iran is gaining momentum, threatening to destabilize the Middle East and tip the balance of power globally. But while that news dominates the headlines, the Department of Justice has released a series of Epstein documents that it hopes will never attract the attention of the general public, writes George Samuelson .

The documents contain the most explosive allegations against Donald Trump and his ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to date. Trump maintains that the allegations against him are not credible, but his denials appear to fall short in the face of this specific witness.

“Bombing a country on the other side of the world will not make the Epstein files disappear,” Republican Congressman Thomas Massie said last week on X.

A series of 302 files contains summaries of three interrogations the FBI conducted with this prosecutor, in which she claims that Epstein took her to meet Trump sometime between the ages of 13 and 15. The recently released files pertain to three interrogations conducted with the woman in August and October 2019.

The anonymous prosecutor describes in very explicit terms Trump’s alleged sexual assault against her and how she tried to resist. When the FBI asked her if she was willing to disclose more about her contacts with the US President, she said at the time that she did not see the point, since it was likely that nothing could be done about it and the statute of limitations for prosecution of a federal crime had already expired.

Meanwhile, the White House has attempted to portray the prosecutor as ‘not credible’ due to a criminal record she has accumulated since her alleged meetings with Epstein and Trump in the 1980s. However, it is important to bear in mind that when children become victims, they are much more likely as adults to engage in problematic activities. When a child is abused, this leads to proven psychological problems from which it is very difficult to recover. Indeed, if you were to claim that a child was abused for years in a sex trafficking network and subsequently became a normally functioning adult, that would appear more suspicious than if that were not the case.

In the recently released files, Trump, who has consistently denied any misconduct regarding Epstein or any knowledge of the deceased financier’s crimes, is specifically mentioned as described below. The interview makes for disturbing reading.

“[Censored] could not remember the identities of the other people present; however, they all left when TRUMP asked everyone to leave the room. TRUMP said something along the lines of: ‘I’ll teach you how little girls are supposed to be.’ TRUMP unzipped his pants and pushed [Censored]’s head ‘towards his penis’. ‘[Censored] bit down on it really hard.’ TRUMP slapped [Censored] and said something along the lines of: ‘Get that little bitch out of here like the fuck…’

The woman’s allegations have not been verified, and no charges have been filed based on her claims. But is the witness credible? Several statements from the alleged victim make this plausible.

That she was actually in the presence of Jeffrey Epstein seems proven by the fact that she remembered him speaking a strange language, which she claimed was Hebrew, with a “throat-clearing, throat-sounding noise.” She said she did not know if Epstein was Jewish. The alleged meeting between Epstein and the young girl is said to have taken place at Hilton Head, South Carolina. This is therefore a particularly interesting piece of information, since Hilton Head Island, unlike New York, does not have a large Hebrew-speaking Jewish population. This is thus the first major indication that the accuser did indeed know the real Jeffrey Epstein, and possibly Donald Trump as well.

The second indication that the prosecutor is telling the truth to the FBI is that she described the personal details of Jeffrey Epstein’s younger brother, Mark Epstein, who was the president of his brother’s investment firm, J. Epstein & Co. While that does not necessarily confirm that the woman is telling the truth, it contributes to the credibility of her claims.

Meanwhile, Trump is known to twist the truth when it comes to his ties to the deceased sex trafficker. In an email dated January 7, 2020, the assistant district attorney shared information that Trump, who had previously stated that he had never flown on Epstein’s infamous plane, was listed as a passenger on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four flights on which Ghislaine Maxwell (Epstein’s currently imprisoned accomplice) was also present. On one particular flight in 1993, he and Epstein are the only two registered passengers; on another, the only three passengers are Epstein, Trump, and the then 20-year-old.

“I’ve known Jeff [Epstein] for 15 years. Great guy,” Donald “Grab them by the p***y” Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. “It’s great fun to hang out with him. It’s even said that he likes beautiful women just as much as I do, and many of them are on the young side.”

Talk about getting yourself into trouble!

The question now is: would Trump take the risk of unleashing World War III by launching a large-scale attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran in an attempt to cover his tracks in the Epstein files? If so, it would not be the first time we have witnessed this ‘wag the dog’ strategy. On August 20, 1998, at the height of Bill Clinton’s sex scandal with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, the United States bombed  the al-Shifa pharmaceutical plant in Sudan, claiming that the plant’s owners had ties to the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.

On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel launched joint airstrikes on Iran, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader and putting the entire world on high alert. It would be a great shame if we witnessed the use of a military smokescreen to protect Trump from his sexual escapades, while we know very well that this could lead to destruction on a global scale and the death of countless millions of people.
