It’s the Maps, Stupid!

Trump’s War Will End Up Destroying the Whole Gulf – As It’s Meant To.

Trump is an insane megalomaniac, surrounded by crooks getting rich through insider trading. Trump has been fooled, bribed or blackmailed by Netanyahu into going to war for Greater Israel. Trump is just a patsy for the World Economic Forum, which sees the Gulf energy crisis as the perfect way to shrink our carbon footprint and advance their depopulation agenda.

Broadly speaking, those are the three main explanations for the war on Iran and the energy crisis it has all too predictably unleashed. They are not mutually exclusive, of course, and the most realistic view is that each of these things is a factor, with different ‘elite’ factions favouring war and energy chaos for their own specific reasons.

As I wrote the other day at the end of ‘Say Goodbye to Normal’ however, it is also possible to see it as the purely materialistic, coldly calculated response of the American financial/military/industrial elite to challenges which they found themselves unable to stop, but whose results they still hope to turn to their advantage.

To understand this, we have to start with the petrodollar. As I explained, this has been the way the global oil market has worked since 1974. In very simple terms, America agreed to provide the military support to keep the corrupt, Islamist-fanatic House of Saud in power. In return, the Saudis agreed to price their oil – and every barrel of oil sold on the planet – in dollars. Everyone wanting to buy oil had to buy dollars, which the Federal Reserve simply printed. Anyone who tried to sell their oil in anything but dollars ended up like Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein or Maduro.

The vast sums of money and bargain-basement priced raw materials and finished goods which have poured into America as a result have been the foundation of US prosperity at home and military power abroad. Washington’s global imperium of the last fifty years has only been possible because of the petrodollar and the petrodollar recycling system.

The grip of the U.S. dollar over global oil purchases was already weakening in the early 2020s. Several countries—especially China and Russia—began increasing the use of their own currencies for energy trade. This didn’t immediately break the system, but it signalled that the dollar monopoly was no longer unquestioned.

The petrodollar faced being ground down by the increasing independence and clout of the expanding BRICS alliance but, in the end, the lethal blow was delivered by America’s old partner – Saudi Arabia. When the fifty-year-old agreement came to an end in June 2024, the ruling clique of the House of Saud declined to renew it.

Much of the Saudi oil trade has continued to be in U.S. dollars, but payments are now also accepted in yuan, euros, yen, and rupees.

This event fits squarely into the broader trend of de-dollarisation, where central banks globally have been diversifying their foreign exchange reserves away from the US dollar. Its share in global reserves has declined from 73% in 2001 to 58.4% in 2023. Ironically, the weaponisation” of the US dollar through sanctions, particularly against Russia, has provided a strong impetus for many countries, especially the BRICS nations, to seek alternatives and enhance their economic sovereignty.

Historically, shifts in global reserve currencies, such as the Spanish Silver Dollar, the Dutch Guilder, and the British Pound Sterling, have always coincided with the collapse and replacement of successive hegemons. The current shift is a powerful indicator of a move towards a more multipolar financial system – and the end of the short ‘American Century’.

The end of the petrodollar left the Beltway/Wall Street elite with the Mother of All Problems: How to preserve US hegemony and their own bottom lines when they have lost the financial mechanism which made their global hegemony possible? They certainly had to do something, America’s debt mountain is so enormous that the cutting off of the imperial tribute system would not just end their power abroad, but quite likely create so much stress at home as to plunge the whole place into civil war.

Something had to be done. For a few years they seem to have hoped that they could continue business as usual. They strove to break the BRICS challenge by ousting Putin and turning Russia back into their Yeltsin-era quarry, then confronting an isolated China.

Orange Puppet

When this feat turned out to be impossible, a new ‘solution’ emerged, and Donald Trump was lined up for a second term in order to provide the larger-than-life mannikin for the puppet show.

With no possibility of keeping the petrodollar and global hegemony, what is now going on is an effort to concentrate on saving the finance capitalist system in North America, and to preserve US power, not by competing with everyone else, but by reducing them to ruin.

Obviously, the war in Iran is a large part a consequence of the enormous power of the Israel lobby over US politicians, and the madness of the Christian-Zionists and the Rapture heretics. Trump’s family connections to the equally barking mad Chabad Lubavitch are also clearly a factor.

But Trump can be manipulated in other ways too. Imagine his reaction when briefed on the fact that the Saudi refusal to renew the petrodollar had put America on the road to financial Armageddon:

“Those camel-f*cking ingrates. We protected them for fifty years and they turn round and stab us in the back. Well, if they won’t pay for protection, they won’t get it. And, boy, do they need it! In fact, we’ll make sure they need it. Then they’ll come crawling back for a deal, which we could give them, but probably won’t, because we don’t use their oil, but China does. So, if their oil industry goes up in flames, the gooks get burnt too.”

Saudi Arabia is in the firing line not only because a large part of it is needed to complete Greater Israel, but also because the Gulf states must fall in order for the Greater North America to rise from the ruins of the 20th century order.

The USA couldn’t turn on the Saudis and Gulf states openly, because their sovereign wealth funds are keeping the AI bubble inflated and holding up the US economy. Provoking Iran to do their dirty work is thus a brutal, but actually quite elegant solution.

This is why American and Israeli jets have already hit desalination plants which are of very little importance to Iran (they supply less than three per cent of its fresh water). And why, before Trump declares victory and leaves, the US Airforce will take out all the others, as well as blitzing Iran’s oil and electricity generating facilities.

Not only because it is hoped that this will crippling Tehran’s ability to confront Israel, but because it is not just Iran which is supposed to be “bombed back to the Stone Age” – Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf monarchies have got to get it as well.

I say “supposed” because it is not certain that the Mullahs will follow through on their threats against their neighbours to the point of civilisational destruction. Having humiliated the Great Satan, they may decide instead to display their Islamic credentials by refraining from such drastic action against ‘fellow Muslims’.

They may reckon that continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz will add to the anger of the ‘Arab street’ against the sickeningly pro-Israel oil sheikhs and usher in very different regime changes to those which everyone else has been thinking about. That could well be the way the people who invented chess decide best advances their quest to show their superiority to the Sunni rivals and become the leaders of the whole Muslim world.

Clearly, however, the US/Israeli hope is that they will lash out, plunging the whole Gulf into a conflagration which – whatever the nominal state of play in the Strait – denies America’s Asian rivals, and even her supposed ‘allies’, Gulf and Iranian oil for years to come.

“Hold on a minute”, though, I hear some say. “The destruction of about a third of the world’s hydrocarbon supplies and 40% of its fertiliser, and of wealth of the Gulf regimes would lead to a stock market crash and global financial, industrial and food crisis which would dwarf the 1929. That can’t possibly be in the interests of American capitalism.”

Well, yes, it can. It certainly isn’t in the interests of the American people, but the Washington/Wall Street elite waged war on half of them, and looted all of them, from the 1860s onwards. This artificially induced mega-crisis will accelerate the end of the family farm and turn millions of homeowners into impoverished renters. If you thought corporate monopoly was swallowing up Middle America, wait until you see what the place looks like on the other side of the Great Depression 2.0.

Remember, also, that the surveillance state and digital currency dystopia so earnestly desired by the tech giants and their intellectual prostitute apologists is so horrific that it will take a huge ‘problem’ to justify their Hegelian ‘solution’.

Thinking on the worldwide impact, the destruction of the Gulf would leave friends and foe alike with little choice but to buy – as Trump has already suggested – American oil and LNG. Particularly since Hegseth’s Department of War has got the Ukrainians taking out very significant chunks of Russia’s energy export capability.

His ‘Greater North America’, by contrast, gives Washington a hydrocarbon full house. Whatever is under Greenland. The tar sands of Canada. LNG from fracking and light oil for petrol in the USA. Heavy oil for diesel in Venezuela.

Take out Gulf diesel; and LNG – Qatar, for example, has been supplying much of what the UK has been using since our own politicians destroyed our coal industry – and the expensive energy available to the USA through fracking and refining heavy oil becomes profitable and very saleable.

The US Deep State knows that this is a great opportunity. The disastrous explosion they are trying to spark will enable a massive power and wealth grab at home, and plunge the rest of the world into huge trouble.

But the opportunity won’t last long. China saw the grave danger of its reliance on Middle Eastern oil several decades ago, hence its race towards electrification. Another few years of alternative energy advances, building coal-fired and nuclear power stations, and electrifying transport, and China will be able to get by just with the hydrocarbons it imports from Russia.

Right now, however, Beijing will be hit as hard by losing its Gulf energy supplies as it will be by the loss of export sales which will be caused by the coming global slump.

It’s not just China in the crosshairs, of course. Japan and India will be hit hard by the same combination of hydrocarbon shortage and shrinking export markets. Once Ukraine runs out of cannon-fodder for the US-sponsored Slavic brothers’ war, the equally brave and geopolitically naïve Poles are being lined up to take their place as the Western half of the meat-grinder.

The EU and Britain have been pushed to commit energy and economic suicide-by-Russia. The crippling of the Euro and Sterling is scheduled to be completed by the application of the CIA’s Yugoslavia Disintegration playbook to the whole of Western for Europe.

The drive to push us to civil war looks at first glance like a purely Zionist agenda, and that is certainly part of it, but look a little deeper: The very first step down that road, the English Defence League, came not from a directly Zionist operation but from a front group for Dick Cheney, operated by Frank Gaffney.

Similarly, the opening of the gates of Europe to several million military-age Muslim men, and the creation of a giant Islamist bridgehead and arms dump in Kosovo, was the work of the US Deep State, albeit George Soros was used as the funding funnel to conceal the fact that, in the end, the money and drive for the Merkel/Macron/Johnson invasion came from the CIA’s National Endowment for Democracy.

It’s all shaping up to be a very bloody and destructive mess. When the dust settles, the USA will no longer dominate the world, but the plan is that it will be the Last Man Standing. To stay on top, you either rise above the others, or push them down.

I wrote just now of “Hegseth’s Greater North America” but, of course, it is not his idea at all. The very map he used at his presentation to Southern Command last month was first used by the actual founders of the concept, Technocracy Inc. Even more significant, this map of what they dubbed the “Technate” was produced by the Canadian chapter of the 1930s movement, which was headed by one Joshua Haldeman – who just happens to have been Elon Musk’s grandfather.

The AI overview of the map reads:

‘The 1940 “Technate of America” map, created by Technocracy Inc., proposes a unified North American superstate spanning from Greenland to the Panama Canal, covering Canada, the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean

‘This technocratic vision sought a self-sufficient region managed by engineers, replacing traditional politics with scientific expertise and a non-monetary, energy-based economic system’.

According to its Wiki entry, ‘Technocracy advocates contended that price system-based forms of government and economy are structurally incapable of effective action, and promoted a society headed by technical experts, which they argued would be more rational and productive.’

That’s another pointer as to why Trump’s puppet masters are quite comfortable with the idea of blowing up the Federal Reserve version of the Dollar, as well as your old normal life and your future dreams.

Obviously, the destruction of family farms, homes and savings will lead to serious popular anger, but the beneficiaries already have their answer. You will own nothing and be very unhappy, but they believe you’ll be able to do nothing about it. They’ve already lined up digital ID, mass surveillance, the creation of a regime militia, FEMA camps, and the purging of senior military figures who might stand by the old Republic’s constitution.

Far from being a threat to their power, their financial crisis will actually enable them to unleash it.

Enter, among others, Peter Thiel, whose Palentir corporation has developed the required central database of citizens’ information, tied in with Homeland Security and the IRS. Why would anyone expect a President who boasts of imposing untested, toxic vaccines on his subjects to resist the onset of such naked tyranny?

Trump could have responded to the end of the petrodollar era by delivering the MAGA revolution he promised. He could have used the billions he’s blown on war to rebuild his country’s industrial base and infrastructure. He could have brought the banks and corporations to heel, beginning a shift back from monopoly to widespread ownership and private enterprise.

Instead, he sold out to the vested interests and monopoly cronyism. He came down on the side of the Israel lobby and techno-tyranny. Don’t be surprised – betrayal of their promises and their voters is what populists do.

In any case, Trump was never in control, he has always been a puppet of the US Deep State, of the super-rich in general and of Peter Thiel and Elon Musk in particular.

All sorts of people and media outlets complain about Trump’s coarseness, arrogance and bullying, but they go along with America’s wars, both in the Middle East and Ukraine.

US capitalists say nothing because it’s their power group. The right and the populists say nothing because they are Atlanticist pawns. The left say nothing because they hate industry in general and hydrocarbons in particular. The EU liberals say nothing because they fantasise that the withdrawal of US power will make ‘Europe’ a global power and give them the excuse to build the army they’ve always wanted to play with.

The Zionists say nothing because they want to steal half of Saudi Arabia. The Jewish religious right say nothing because they want to kill the Persian Amalek and reduce the world to chaos in order to summon up their anti-Christ Messiah. The Federal Reserve banks and their media outlets (such as The Economist) say nothing because they know their old business model needs restructuring, and because economic crashes are a great opportunity to grab distressed assets and screw the little guys even harder.

The counter-jihadists say nothing because they only do what they are paid to do. The WEF and other global elite thinktanks say nothing because massive resource destruction will shrink our carbon footprint. The tech bros say nothing because it will accelerate their revolution. The Nazis saying nothing because they only see ‘the Jews’.

The Saudis and other Sunnis say nothing because they think the target is Shia Iran. The LGBTQ lobby says nothing because the Iranians, Russians and Chinese are unkind to homosexuals. The Russians and Chinese say nothing because having the USA control a third of the world strikes them as better than having it dominate the entire planet. The Vatican says nothing because, well, look at the Paul VI Audience Hall.

All of them are likely at some stage to learn the truth that is often found in the old warning to “be careful what you wish for”. All of them have been tempted by great riches and great power but making a pact with the Tempter never ends well for those who give way to such temptation.

But enough of the Devil and his strutting imps and minions. What should you do? Pray. Build a network of friends and neighbours. Buy some cans of fuel. Book your holiday near to home. Buy tins of beans. Not because they are necessarily going to run out, but because they are going to get very expensive.

Go and prepare your vegetable patch or simply go for a walk and enjoy the beauty of God’s good earth. Secure in the faith that, in the end, it will be the Devil’s followers who fall into their own pits; it will all work out in the end. Deus Vult!
