Democrats Prefer Replacements to American Lives

The loyalty Democrats show to illegal immigrants is obvious and frustrating to many Americans. Indeed, it is one of the most salient facts of modern American political life, so much so that a recent Harvard-Harris poll found that a majority of Americans believe Democrats want open borders. The party’s militant commitment to stopping President Trump’s mass deportations, to whipping up the populace against ICE, and to shielding violent, foreign-born criminals leads to no other conclusion. Illegal aliens and their U.S.-born descendants—who according to current application of the 14th Amendment now receive automatic citizenship—are the reserve army that the party plans to use to build permanent political power. For Democrats, continuing mass immigration is imperative, no matter the cost.
In March, Democrats forced travelers to wait hours at airports as the party refused to fund the Department of Homeland Security, including the TSA. Democrats have demanded ICE reforms that would weaken enforcement, expose officers to higher risk, and cripple speedy deportations with neverending bureaucratic processes. For Democrats, crippling American infrastructure is a legitimate means to protect illegal aliens and engineer long-term demographic changes favorable to their party’s grip on power. While airports have calmed, the country remains in a febrile state, and murders of Americans by illegal aliens have become frustratingly routine.
A 34-year-old from Honduras with a lengthy criminal history was charged last month with murder after shoving an 83-year-old Vietnam War veteran onto the subway tracks in New York City. Richard Williams landed on his face, suffered a brain bleed, and never regained consciousness. Another of this attacker’s victims, a 30-year-old, was also injured but survived. But foreign predators do not discriminate by age. An 18-year-old college student, Sheridan Gorman, was fatally shot in the back by a 25-year-old Venezuelan man in a ski mask, Jose Medina-Medina, who ambushed her and her friends near a Chicago pier in the early morning. Medina-Medina’s lawyer says he is missing part of his brain and has the “development of a child.” After his release into the U.S. by the Biden administration, he was arrested for shoplifting but was not detained due to Illinois’ sanctuary policies.
Both of these murders were unprovoked, but they were not random. Williams’ killer has been deported four times since first entering the U.S. illegally in 2008. New York City’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, has redoubled his hostility to ICE, calling it the real danger to public safety even after the high-profile killing of Williams, which he has ignored completely. Illinois governor JB Pritzker audaciously blamed Gorman’s killing on the Trump administration over its supposed failure to target the “worst of the worst.” Pritzker demanded “immigration reform,” which is a code word for amnesty. Gorman’s family publicly criticized Pritzker’s delayed response, which came five days after the murder and was motivated by the backlash he was receiving.
Virginia’s new Democratic governor, Abigail Spanberger, moved swiftly upon assuming power to turn the state into a sanctuary for accused killers and rapists, requiring ICE to obtain judicial warrants for routine immigration arrests. She has refused to relent even in the case of murderers like Abdul Jalloh, a man from Sierra Leone charged with fatally stabbing a 41-year-old woman, Stephanie Minter, in the neck at a bus stop in February. Jalloh has over 30 previous arrests, including for rape.
Republicans often frame immigration as a crime problem, which has rhetorical force but fails to hit the root of the issue. Democrats have never been ashamed to admit that replacement migration is the key to their political future. Leading politicians, from Joe Biden to Chuck Schumer, have openly celebrated the prospect of a minority white America, even as the left loudly denounces the Great Replacement as a conspiracy theory. According to the U.S. Census, white births fell below 50 percent for the first time in February of this year. This was not a natural process, or something chosen by previous generations through democratic means. It is the deliberate result of immigration patterns encouraged by Democrats and the business arm of the GOP.
The clock is ticking. Unless millions here illegally are returned to their native lands, mass immigration will change the nature of the country and its politics irreversibly within 10 to 15 years. The Supreme Court will not come to the rescue, in light of last week’s arguments on birthright citizenship. Responding to Trump administration Solicitor General D. John Sauer’s remark that “It’s a new world” in which 19th-century immigration rules should not apply, Chief Justice Roberts said, “It’s the same Constitution.”
America is sleepwalking into a dark future. The backlash against Trump’s crackdown by the same electorate that voted for mass deportations, is sobering. One could hardly blame the Democrats for feeling emboldened. As usual, conservatives are playing defense, or worse, surrendering without a shot. Perhaps it is too late to stop demographic disaster. The only way to find out is to try.
