Trillions Spent Creating Covert Underground Cities to Shield Elites From a ‘Near-Extinction Event’

Catherine Austin Fitts, a former Bush administration official, made the shocking allegations that the U.S. government had invested trillions of dollars in a secret system of underground cities intended to protect the elite from an imminent “near-extinction event.”

Fitts claimed in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson that since 1998, at least 170 advanced bunkers have been built across America, some of which are buried far below the ocean floor and are shielded from accountability and public access.

“It’s disaster preparation,” Fitts stated.

Fitts, who was George H. W. Bush’s assistant secretary of housing and urban development from 1989 to 1990, asserted that between 1998 and 2015, $21 trillion in public funds were invested in the project.

According to a 2017 investigation by economist Mark Skidmore of Michigan State University, a significant amount of “unauthorized spending” had been discovered throughout the Departments of Housing and Urban Development and Defense during that period, she claimed.

According to a New York Post article, Fitts says she investigated claims of a larger bunker network after spending two years going through documents pertaining to previously established underground military outposts.

Fitts said she was able to estimate the true number of facilities by comparing her study with the missing money.

She asserted that there are more bases worldwide and that the 170 only applied to those on US soil and along its coastline.

She added that the bases are connected by a complex transportation system and that a military-only secret energy system powers them.

The existence of complex underground government bases and bunkers is no secret.

Fitts claimed that those alleged bases are used not only as doomsday bunkers for the elites but also as locations for the government to conduct covert operations like a “secret space program.”

“I’m convinced that this energy exists. If you look at a lot of the really fast ships, flying around the planet, they’re not using classical electricity,” she said, seemingly alluding to a wave of strange unidentified aerial phenomena purportedly flying around the skies in recent years.

The Cheyenne Mountain Complex, a hardened base of operations for a variety of military operations, was constructed inside a Colorado mountain during the Cold War. The US Space Force currently uses it.
