Of What Use are the Rules?
We are finding out that the world built in the shadow of World War II doesn’t work. What’s termed the international rules-based order is a failure. As Cormac McCarthy wrote in No Country for Old Men, “if the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?”
The idea that the international community could be ordered based on a set of rules and creating international organizations to monitor compliance with those rules is absurd. But I guess it had to be tried, if for no other reason than to discard it out of hand in the future. Politics operate on a cycle of power, control, abuse, resistance and revolution. No agreement or power-sharing will stop that cycle. At best, it can shorten the cycle by excluding abuse where resistance would begin at the point of control, but rarely has it ever done so.
If anything should give one pause and recognition of their vulnerability it should be how the international rules-based order threatens to remove the resistance part of the cycle and extend abuse even past the point of arriving at revolution. Everything in the world right now is designed to exert control over everyone and everything and leave that control in the hands of a few insane billionaires driven mad by excess.
The few victories of nationalism against this global cartel prove its value, but one must resist indoctrination to make that work. This is what I’ve been watching in the European nations of Hungary, Poland, Romania and Italy, maybe even Germany. The global cartel, though, has seen the danger (to itself) of rising nationalism and put every effort to beat it down successfully in Romania and not quite successfully in Poland. Germany is still wavering. This is all due to the idea of resistance being excluded from the cycle. Europe, having abused its citizens is facing nationalist resistance that is being met with greater abuse by nullifying their elections, or in the case of Germany, outlawing the most popular political party all together.
The world is at the point where the desire for control is so great that it’s inspired totally brazen actions. The influx of replacement populations is one, the outright theft and manipulations of elections is another. They don’t care what is seen, as long as they hold power. This is the tragedy taking place in America. We all see the corruption, the naked racism against whites and Christians in favor of anyone else. We see it in the violence perpetrated by the left while every government body finds a way to make it the fault of the right, even by listing criminal terrorists “white” when they obviously are not. Whenever a communist is arrested it’s accompanied by violent demonstrations and riots for which no one is held accountable, yet shopkeepers were arrested for trying to keep their businesses open during Covid.
In some sense it’s all designed to drive the right to violence so they can say, “see, we told you they were violent extremists” while they remain blind to the violence of the left happening every day.
If these are the rules we followed that brought us to this, what good are the rules?
It’s time to reevaluate everything, to discard what is broken or useless and focus on what works. Oil and gas work much more efficiently than anything the left has come up with to “save the planet.” Elections work to stave off revolution only when they are trustworthy. International organizations are a complete failure, but the instinct to help the needy is not, it just can’t be done with stolen money from individual workers a world away. The US as the world’s piggy bank has bankrupted our system. One hundred years of medical advancements were thrown away to save the profits of a few multi-national corporations.
All of these things are common sense that everyone sees, but the consequences of failing to protect these ideas has brought us to the edge of economic and military catastrophe. We’re accustomed to the world where the stupid and the insane quickly weed themselves out of the gene-pool, but no more. We coddle and support them, bring their insanity into the sane world and try to accommodate it. That is perhaps the worst sin of our present.
The lies of the globalists, that diversity is our strength, has cost us generations of advancement while we stopped in our tracks and tried to bring them up to that level of civilization while we, ourselves, were left behind by the rest of the world. Diversity is a strength, but only racists see it as being of one color or another, when the truth is diversity of experience, of opinions, of attitudes lead us into unconceived places without it. That doesn’t have a color, it doesn’t mean that somehow reaching back into evolution will enable us to exceed the current pace of evolution.
The American predicament is that it must do completely different things within the same system and it’s taking an enormous amount of time to reject that notion. Sometimes what must be done cannot be done using the same tools as before. Those tools are broken and must be discarded, the system must be deconstructed, but expecting that to happen under the illusion of order is irrational.
All day long the media focuses on the criminal aliens being arrested and facing deportation and they always find some weeping neighbor, or violent leftist to train their cameras on, but they do not report the body decaying the swamp, mutilated by the people they’re arresting. They don’t show the bloody crashes caused by criminal aliens who usually don’t have a driver’s license, insurance, or even their own car. That doesn’t matter to people appealing to emotion. Do they follow the trail of the victims? No, they elaborate the difficulties of the guilty.
The images of crying families they present is not pleasant, but it is extraordinarily satisfying for the victims of the brutal crimes their family members committed.
