[T]here is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country…
MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people…
MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards—backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love…
MAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow of lies…
We must be stronger, more determined, and more committed to saving American democracy than MAGA Republicans are to—to destroying American democracy…
And so on he went, backdropped in red and black with U.S. Marines at the ready, like something staged by German cinéaste Leni Riefenstahl of the National Socialist Party. It would have been fascinating to watch the rehearsals, with breathless handlers telling Biden to look menacing as he punches up “MAGA Republicans” a full 13 times. On one level, it was classic projection.
People are free to believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fair and square, but there are reasons to doubt it. Biden functioned as the Pangloss president, telling the people all was well when they could see it wasn’t. Biden was also the Pétain president, a figurehead for the woke-leftist-globalist junta that called the shots. As Tablet’s David Samuels recognized, Barack Obama still ran the country and helped precipitate “the disaster we are living through now.” And Obama had the deep state on his side.
As Angelo Codevilla noted in Informing Statecraft: Intelligence for a New Century, “The CIA’s liberal American culture” and “their disdain for American conservatives is not cerebral but visceral, the kind that Brahmins have for lower castes.” Visceral disdain morphs into undisguised hatred in John Brennan’s Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies, at Home and Abroad, but it didn’t start there.
“Desire to wage war on ordinary Americans—to disadvantage them and even kill them—had long been bubbling in the ruling class’s basements,” noted Codevilla in 2019, citing publications such Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States, 1970-2008. That classified persons “suspicious of centralized federal authority” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right wing terrorists.” As Codevilla put it, “skeptical of the government? You’re a potential terrorist.”
True to form, under the Biden Junta, pro-life activists and parents protesting the indoctrination of their children became domestic terrorists and violent extremists, targets for armed raids by the FBI. As Americans noted, the FBI failed to prevent the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993 and the massive terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001. The FBI also failed to prevent terrorist attacks at Fort Hood (2009), the Boston Marathon (2013), San Bernardino (2015) and Orlando (2016), all with massive loss of life, and the FBI played no role in the takedown of the terrorists. Contrast these with the events of Aug. 9, 2023, nearly a year after Biden’s speech.
An FBI SWAT team shot and killed Craig Robertson, a 75 year-old woodworker, for threats to Joe Biden that he allegedly made online. Threats to the president are normally handled by the Secret Service, but under Biden the FBI applied the deadly force. If anybody thought the Federal Bureau of Investigation had become Biden’s secret police, it would be hard to blame them.
On July 13, 2024 in Butler, Pennsylvania, however, Thomas Matthew Crooks evaded the Secret Service and a police detail, gained an ideal rooftop shooting position, and got off eight shots at Donald Trump, one of which wounded him in the ear, while three others hit spectators, including Corey Comperatore, who died as a result of his injuries. Had Trump not turned his head to look at an immigration chart, the candidate and former president would have been a dead man.
In his first statement on the shooting, FBI director Christopher Wray said “there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” a clear attempt to minimize an obvious assassination attempt. Biden directed Department of Homeland Security director Alejandro Mayorkas to assemble an “independent security review” that included Obama Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, which ensured that the review would be anything but independent.
Under Napolitano, DHS had shifted the focus from Islamic terrorism to domestic terrorism and published Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment. Americans dedicated to their constitutional rights had been fundamentally transformed into domestic terrorists and violent extremists.
On Sept. 15, 2024, the Secret Service stopped Ryan Wesley Routh before he could get off a shot in a second attempt to kill Trump—just days before Trump accepted the Republican nomination for president. By then, Biden had been dumped for Kamala Harris, who lost to Trump in November.
Trump is on record saying that “they’re coming after you—and I’m just standing in their way,” a fact that was duly confirmed by Joe Biden in his Sept. 1, 2022 hate speech. Want your nation to be great? You’re a target for deadly government force.
Joe Biden, whom columnist Conrad Black called “a waxworks effigy of a president,” is fittingly ranked among the worst people in American history. Americans who are dissatisfied with the current occupant of the White House would do well to remember what the previous administration said about them, and what the left thinks of them, as we approach the midterms.
