Chain Reactions & Control Rods

Chain Reactions & Control Rods

1. Chain Reactions & Control Rods

If the elites who rule us were truly far-sighted, they would have strangled the Internet in its crib. Their control was never greater than when there were only three major television networks and all newspapers followed the Associated Press.

The old media were one-way conduits delivering standardized messages to isolated individuals. Since the rise of the Internet and social media, dissenting ideas flow much more freely, because there are many more channels, including person-to-person “viral” propagation, which can grow exponentially, circling the globe over and over at lighting speed.

When information that delegitimizes a political system and offers a better alternative spreads this way, the consequences can be literally revolutionary.

I liken it to a nuclear reaction, in which atoms of nuclear fuel (usually uranium-235 or plutonium-239) are bombarded with neutrons, splitting the atoms into smaller fragments, releasing both energy and other neutrons. These newly released neutrons split other atoms, releasing still more neutrons, etc., which is called a “chain reaction.”

Chain reactions can be dangerous. If there is enough fuel, it can lead to a nuclear explosion. In nuclear power plants, there is never enough fuel for an explosion. But an out-of-control chain reaction can cause a reactor “meltdown,” releasing radiation.

The way that nuclear power plants prevent meltdowns is by inserting “control rods” into the nuclear fuel. Control rods simply impede neutrons from finding and splitting other atoms. Control rods are made of elements like boron, which absorb neutrons without undergoing fission. By impeding the free flow of neutrons, control rods keep the reaction under control, allowing it to be exploited for power generation.

I think a similar thing is at work in controlling the flow of dissident ideas. I have long been amazed at the vacuousness of discourse in fake right spheres like the Intellectual Dark Web and the Bronze Age Barry Weiss Sphere.

Then it occurred to me that maybe these people aren’t there to offer serious ideas and sound priorities. They are simply there to prevent people from finding such things. They are control rods, jammed into our discursive spaces to prevent us from finding the truth and forming real networks that could challenge the ruling powers.

Just as the “meaning” of a lot of modern art is simply that it prevents you from finding genuine art, the meaning of a lot of faux-Right diversions is that they prevent you from finding your way to the truth. Congratulations, by the way, because if you are reading this, you’ve made it.

2. This New Cold War Is a Good Thing, Actually

This biggest news of the week took place in Beijing, where Red China showed off its military might and received leaders of such client states as Russia and North Korea, as well as Narendra Modi of India. Anti-American geopolitical commentators were priapic. “Could this be the beginning of a new multipolar world?”

We’ve always lived in a multipolar world. The idea of a unipolar world was floated by Jewish neocon Charles Krauthammer in a 1990 Foreign Affairs article entitled “The Unipolar Moment.” The article was part of the wave of giddiness set off by the collapse of Communism in 1989, the same wave that prompted Francis Fukuyama to raise the question of “The End of History?”  Both Krauthammer and Fukuyama hoped that the Communist world would basically become indistinguishable from liberal-democratic capitalism and that somehow they’d all end up following America’s lead.

The “unipolar moment” didn’t last one minute, because Russia was still ruled by elements of the old Soviet elite, China was still ruled by the Chinese Communist Party, and both powers had nuclear deterrents. Both, moreover, were content to exploit American unipolar giddiness to build their strength by trading with the West. While America hollowed out its economy, China grew stronger. Russia remained a shambles but bought friends with cheap gas and plowed some of the profits into meme production.

So no, a multipolar world is not just around the corner. It has always been here. The great change on the horizon is that West might finally be awakening to the fact that it has spent the last 35 years emptying itself out while building up its enemies.

I, for one, welcome a new Cold War against China, Russia, and India.

First, it would force the US and the West in general to bring home manufacturing.

Second, it would force us to send home millions of Chinese and Indian fifth columnists and spies. The more the “global south” cozies up to China, the more immigrants we have reasons to send back.

Third, it would force us to invest more in high tech research and development, which not only creates high paying jobs but also has positive economic knock-on effects as well.

Fourth, the last Cold War coincided with the greatest economic and population boom ever for white middle and working class people, whereas the end of the Cold War was the beginning of reckless globalization and declining living standards. Apparently, capitalists need the threat of a commissar shooting them in the back of the head every minute of the day, or they will sell out their nations in a heartbeat.

Fifth, the end of the Cold War made it possible for Western elites to binge on luxury beliefs like multiculturalism, feminism, green boondoggles, open borders, and the like. A new Cold War would force them to become a little bit more serious. It would also force them to appreciate their own people a bit more, as opposed to their current xenophilia.

Finally, a new Cold War would force the West to rebuild its martial spirit, which is a welcome counterweight to the selfishness, effeminacy, and frivolity of consumer society.

3. Will Nobody Think of the Narcoterrorists?

Earlier this week, Donald Trump announced the details of a strike on Venezuelan Tren de Aragua narcoterrorists in the southern Caribbean. The video footage shows a boat with eleven people in it being blown up.

This strike is part of the rising hostility between Venezuela and the Trump administration, which is itself part of a larger policy of building Fortress America. While Emperor Trump’s saber rattling against Canada and Denmark was dumb and disturbing, I do like the general trend of gradually trimming back the American Empire to focus on the Western Hemisphere.

It’s a refreshing change when “America strikes terrorists” stories actual refer to our enemies instead of Israel’s enemies. Tren de Aragua has an extensive history of terrorizing Americans within our own borders. One of the most notorious examples was when the gang took control of several apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, storming one complex in a show of force to terrorize the residents. In addition to poisoning the blood of country with various drugs, Tren also engages in human trafficking, including a human trafficking ring run out of motels in Nashville, Tennessee.

Every child deserves to be loved as much as Leftists love criminals. Thus there was predictable kvetching about “due process.” Due process apparently applies only to the scum of the earth, never their victims.

When a journalist asked JD Vance “What legal authority did you operate under to take down a Venezuelan cartel boat?” Vance replied “The legal authority is that there are terrorists bringing deadly drugs into our country, and POTUS ran on a promise of stopping it. Next?” When Pete Hegseth was asked the same question, he said that the US had “absolute, total authority” to protect its citizens. The common good is the supreme law. It is good to see America acting like a serious country for a change.

As for the claim that the boat was actually full of migrants, my reaction is: this probably disinformation. But I wish it were true. It would establish an important precedent. Europe only needs to blow up a few boatloads of migrants. Then the boats will stop coming. It is actually the humane option. Every migrant blown up off the shores of Europe will save the lives of European men, women, and children. If Europe’s current leaders are unwilling to pull the trigger, they will be replaced by those who are.

4. Marjorie Taylor Greene Putting America First

Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is becoming one of the most consistent America-First Republicans. In fact, she’s more America First than Trump himself. Greene has recently spoken out against Israel’s Gaza genocide and the Jewish control over American foreign policy that makes it possible.

Greene has also been dogged in her commitment to exposing the full truth about Jeffrey Epstein, which is very close to the heart of Jewish control of America’s elites. On September 3, she attended a press conference alongside Representative Thomas Massie and several Epstein victims to demand accountability and transparency. For doing so, MTG was attacked by such MAGA luminaries as Laura Loomer, Ben Shapiro, Mike Cernovich, and . . . Catturd as being disloyal to Trump.

Admittedly, there were several leftists in attendance, as evidenced by some of the signs. But if anything should be a bipartisan issue, surely it is prosecuting a pedophile blackmail ring.

When it comes to the Epstein case, disloyalty to Trump is loyalty to America.

5. The Israel Litmus Test

Do a search for the name of any person in Congress along with the phrase “Israel as a Jewish state.” You’ll find that practically all of them have vowed their commitment to maintaining “Israel as a Jewish state.” Now do the same with the phrase “America as a white country.” I don’t think a single person in Congress would sign off on that. It would be “racist.”

But Israeli power is fading. When Israel’s chief butcher Netanyahu told Breitbart “You can’t be MAGA if you’re anti-Israel,” Steve Bannon responded: “American Citizens Do Not Give 2 Fucks About Your Thoughts on MAGA. . . .  They Care About Exposing Your Pathological Lies in Order to Keep Us Out of Your Next War.” On September 2, Bannon said on his WarRoom podcast: “Netanyahu says you can’t be MAGA and be anti-Israel. Wrong. You can be pro or anti-Israel, as long as you’re AMERICA FIRST. That is our movement. If Israel wants regime change go ahead, but we will NOT be dragged in.”

On September 4, Yoram Hazony’s speech at the fifth National Conservatism conference ruefully acknowledged that Jews and Jewish interests are no longer sacrosanct within the MAGA coalition. Of course not. You can’t make Make America Great Again if foreign interests outweigh those of your own country.

Trump needs to be America First in substance as well as slogan.

6. Deployment to Chiraq

Donald Trump brought law and order to Washington DC by deploying 2,000 National Guard troops. Predictably, Leftists were outraged that blacks were being denied their fundamental right to cap each other. Some commentators mocked photos of troops just standing around doing nothing. Yes, because deterrence . . . deters. Other troops have been castigated for going around picking up garbage. But this is very much part of their mission. It is the reverse of the “broken window” theory, which posits that visible signs of disorder encourage crime. Visible signs of order discourage crime.

The tactic has been so successful that Trump has promised to tame Chicago next. A 2023 study found that young men (mostly blacks) in Chicago’s 60624 zip code were almost twice as likely to die from a firearm homicide than a US soldier in a combat brigade was to die from enemy action in Iraq. This past Labor Day weekend, 58 people were shot in 37 separate incidents in Chicago. Proving Steve Sailor’s law of mass shootings, only 8 of them died.

Trump can start by jailing Chicago’s mayor, Brandon Johnson, who is apparently planning an insurrection. As he said in a very sassy speech, “Are you prepared to defend this land. This land which was built by slaves. A land which was built by indigenous people. A land that is built by workers. Are you prepared to defend this land? The people, united, will always prevail!”

7. The Next Color Revolution is Canceled

The Trump administration is making it clear that there will be no second color revolution. On August 25, 2025, Trump signed an executive order directing the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, to create a “National Rapid Response Task Force” within the National Guard “to assist federal, state and local law enforcement in quelling civil disturbances and ensuring the public safety and order whenever the circumstances necessitate.” This is a welcome change from Trump’s 2020 strategy of acting like a deer in the headlights in the aftermath of a stolen election. No, it is not enough to have lots of supporters with guns to put down an insurrection. They need to be organized and operating under the aegis of state power, otherwise you will lose and ironically be accused of “insurrection” for having lost. To borrow a phrase from David Zsutty, “It’s not a fed post when you have federal power.”

8. Beware of Foreign Influencables

Influencable is a social media company that pays social media influencers to promote memes. They aren’t exactly subtle, so it is easy to spot their work. If several major accounts all start using the same talking point at the same time, that’s usually the mark of a coordinated campaign.

The X account Aesthetica noticed that several conservative influencers started shilling for India at the same time, usually with some variation of the talking point that India was a good friend and counterweight to China. Aesthetic also claimed that he had heard “from 4 independent sources that @RyanAFournier is the person who set up the india campaign” and that “he approaches conservative influencers to join his paid propaganda group citing ‘access to some of the top MAGA influencers on X like DC Draino, Gunther Eagleman, Juanita Broadrick, etc.’”

Charlie Kirk then amplified Aesthetica’s findings by posting “Who exactly is paying them and how much? We have laws against foreign interests paying social media influencers. We should start enforcing them.” This is more than a tad ironic given how Charlie Kirk and TPUSA are very comfortable with unmitigated Israeli influence.

I guess I don’t live in the same universe as people like Lauren Southern and Tim Pool, because nobody ever offered me a cent to change my positions on anything.
