After Robbing EU Taxpayers, Zelensky Uses Blackmail to Enter the Bloc
Zelensky’s corrupt dictatorship is a pale reflection of his patrons in Washington, Brussels, Paris, Berlin and London.
Since the US-led NATO proxy war against Russia began in February 2022, the European Union has distributed $216 billion in aid to Ukraine. This equates to €186 billion, according to the latest official EU count. The actual amount is likely even higher.
The United States has given a similar amount to Ukraine, all paid for by taxpayers.
That’s a total of around $400 billion over three years, with the EU promising even more in the coming years.
To put this into perspective, EU aid to Ukraine is many times higher than what all 27 member states combined have received from the bloc’s collective budget and administration. According to Euronews reporting, some of the largest recipients of EU subsidies annually are Germany (€14 billion), France (€16.5 billion), and Poland (€14 billion). Some of the smaller recipient countries include Austria, Denmark, and Ireland (around €2 billion).
This means that Ukraine has received much more than all EU member states combined.
Understand this. Ukraine, which isn’t a member of the European Union, receives far more than the current member states. And then you wonder why people in France are taking to the streets in anger because their chaotic government wants to cut pensions and other social services to save money. Elsewhere, European governments are collapsing under unsustainable debt. And at the same time, European citizens are constantly being told that their states must spend ever more money on the NATO alliance, even to the insulting point of having to accept cuts to social benefits and public services.
Ukraine and its corrupt neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv have drained Europe. The so-called president, Vladimir Zelensky (who canceled last year’s elections, so he’s not really a legitimate president), reportedly funnels €50 million a month into foreign funds for his pension, while his wife browses luxury stores in New York and Paris. Other members of the regime, such as former prime minister and now “Defense Minister” Denys Shmyhal, are also reportedly deeply involved in corruption and are siphoning off billions from military aid paid for by Western taxpayers.
This week, Zelensky took his brazenness to a new level—if that’s even possible. He’s demanding that Ukraine join the EU and wants to change the bloc’s rules to speed up the process. The EU has granted Ukraine (and Moldova) an expedited membership process, but Hungary has objected.
In June, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán vetoed the continuation of accession negotiations with Ukraine. EU rules require unanimity among member states for approval of new members. Orbán said Ukraine was ineligible due to the current war against Russia. “We would be importing a war,” he said.
Budapest also objects to Ukrainian language laws that discriminate against the Hungarian minority in Ukraine’s western Transcarpathian region. (Russian is also banned in public buildings.)
A referendum held in Hungary in June found that 95 percent of voters were against Ukraine’s EU membership.
Despite this, Zelensky continues his peevish whining. During a joint press conference in Kyiv on Monday, with the compliant Dutch prime minister at his side, Zelensky said : “Ukraine will become a member of the European Union, with or without Orbán, because that is the choice of the Ukrainian people.”
The petty dictator flaunted his insufferable presumption by suggesting the European Union change its rules to bypass Hungary’s veto—all to appease his begging regime. “Changing the procedure is called finding a way without Hungary,” he said. And in a further arrogant rejection of the democratic process, Zelenskyy claimed that the Hungarian people support his EU ambitions, contradicting the June referendum.
Orbán responded decisively, telling Zelensky that he could not blackmail his way into the European Union.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó added a dose of reality, stating: “The decision on which country is ready to join the European Union and which country can join the EU is not taken by the President of Ukraine, but by the European Union itself, for which such decisions require unanimity.”
In a further remark , Szijjártó hit the nail on the head by saying that Zelenskyy is “completely out of touch with reality.” The Hungarian diplomat also recalled that the regime in Kyiv is blowing up energy infrastructure and endangering the vital interests of EU member states.
Last month, Ukrainian troops blew up the Druzhba oil pipeline from Russia , cutting off energy supplies to Hungary and Slovakia. Zelensky’s regime carried out this sabotage in retaliation for Budapest’s opposition to Ukraine’s EU membership application. This is undoubtedly what Orbán was referring to when he criticized Zelensky this week for using blackmail.
So there you have it. A corrupt, unelected, neo-Nazi regime led by a Jewish con man who plays the piano with his penis while wearing high heels, is using terrorist tactics to attack the vital interests of EU member states and is now telling those member states they have no voting rights in EU processes because it has decided it will join the Union. It’s unbelievable. And this after having ripped off the bloc’s taxpayers for €186 billion to wage a war against Russia—a war that has cost the lives of 1.5 million Ukrainian soldiers—that could spiral out of control into a nuclear World War III.
If this is the kind of destruction this regime can wreak while not yet a member of the EU, you can only imagine what a hell it will be once it does.
An analogy might be that a homeowner is being harassed by a criminal gang loitering near the door, and the household then lets the gang in. The gang leader comes in, puts his dirty boots on the table, and then begins demanding this and that of the homeowners, using blackmail to harm the children of the house, or do something else heinous.
The real culprits in this obscene farce, however, are the American and European elites who fomented the war against Russia. Together, they weaned and coddled the Kiev regime with largesse and indulgence, paid for by taxpayers. The transatlantic ruling class of the US and the EU has cultivated a regime of corruption and war since the CIA-backed coup in Kiev in 2014 against an elected president. The scam has laundered hundreds of billions in public funds to the Western military-industrial complex. It has destroyed Europe’s economies and is now destroying the semblance of democracy within Europe. (It’s unclear what Trump’s position on all this is, but he probably doesn’t count anyway.)
The Western imperialist ruling class is so obsessed with its plan for a “strategic defeat” of Russia (and China) and for world domination that it is prepared to cultivate any rogue regime it can use for its purposes, no matter how much it conflicts with international law and its own professed democratic principles.
