FBI Forces Charlie Kirk Witness to Delete Cell Phone Footage
A key witness to the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk has made a shocking claim: FBI agents led by Kash Patel allegedly ordered him to delete footage of the murder just hours after he turned it over.
Ryne Simmons, who says he recorded the incident on his phone, told reporters he initially thought he was doing the right thing by cooperating. But instead of preserving his evidence, Simmons says officers ordered him to delete key evidence because they believed the video “could induce PTSD,” Baxter Dmitry writes .
“They said it would be better for me mentally if I took it off,” Simmons explained. ” Then one of them called me later to confirm that I had actually done it. That’s when it started to seem wrong.”
The FBI’s official account of the shooting has already come under fire for major inconsistencies: conflicting timelines, missing surveillance footage, and unexplained silence from witnesses.
Judge Erik Graf has banned more than 3,000 people, including eyewitnesses, from speaking.
If Simmons’ story is accurate, it could point to a deliberate attempt to destroy key evidence and influence the story from within the agency itself.
Simmons says he has since retrieved the videos and archived them on an external hard drive “for safety,” though he is reportedly reluctant to make them public out of concern for his safety.
The FBI did not respond to requests for comment on whether agents had the authority to order a witness to remove potential evidence in a murder investigation, nor whether they hack phones to delete files.
