The Peace President Prepares Another War

According to the Washington Post, President Trump is amassing 16.000 troops, eight warships and an aircraft carrier and submarine off the Venezuelan coast.  According to US Senator Rick Scott, Maduro’s days are numbered.  It appears there are plans to attack Venezuelan military bases on the grounds that they are narcoterrorist facilities.  Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s statement that the US under Trump has abandoned regime change seems to be incorrect. https://www.rt.com/news/627225-gabbard-us-regime-change/ 

The charge that Maduro is a narcoterrorist is a set-up charge for his overthrow so that the US can regain control of Venezuela and its oil wealth.  The charge is as false as the charges against Osama bin Laden, Afghanistan, Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, Assad, Iran, Russia.  

Why are American conservatives, once anti-interventionists, in service to Washington’s global violence?

What is the world to think of the US which commits massive violence against other countries on the basis of pure lies?
