Cruel Demonrats Abandon Condo Constituents to Cascading Crime
At present I’m living in a sanctuary county sinkhole that sanctifies criminality. The local Demorats see even their fellow Dems as expendable since they can always import more third world dregs as voters to replace them. The two Maryland counties that lie on the northern perimeter of Washington, DC, Montgomery County and Prince Georges counties are sanctuary jurisdictions being solid “blue” through and through. Montgomery County, where I live, basically has an eastern section that has been taken over by every third world ethnic group extant, while its western section is home to economically high-end federal bureaucrats and federal contractors who, living high off the hog, mean that their high property values and thus high taxes support the county as a whole. As a result, the county is still among the top ten in the US for the average level of family incomes.
Meanwhile, Prince Georges (PG) County to the immediate east is a haven for wealthier blacks wishing to escape the problems created by their lower income fellow blacks in Washington, DC. However, it is also the home base for the MS-13 cutthroat Hispanic gang which controls large tracts of this turf. PG County gave Kamala Harris her highest vote share of any county in the US in the recent election with 86% of the votes. The “Maryland Condominiums” complex in the in the Langley Park neighborhood of PG (only 2 miles from me) is the main subject of this article being the subject of an expose by the reporter Aaron Sibarium of the Washington Free Beacon online newspaper. That complex gave Kamala Harris 90% of the vote in the aforesaid election, although she was (obviously!) the most unqualified candidate! As well, the Green Party and various socialist parties are also popular hereabouts.
Regarding the “Maryland Condominiums” complex mentioned above, its occupants consist of poor non-whites which, one supposes, makes them a protected group in this Demonrat area. However, a few years ago, a “homeless encampment” took over in the complex’s backyard; this encampment was run by the MS-13 gang who transformed the area into a combination crack-house, open-air drug market and toilet, as well as a magnet for organized crime that has caused millions in property damage to the complex and its legal residents.
Vandals routinely break into the buildings and smoke crack in the stairwells. Condo owners have to navigate needles, feces and the bodies of addicts sleeping half naked in the hallways. When these dregs of humanity ransacked the boiler room around Thanksgiving last year, one-half the complex had no heat. These trespassers also illegally use the complex’s electricity for which, obviously, they pay nothing. This situation means that private owners are forced to use space heaters to survive the winter, that in turn results in many units losing electricity as space heaters blow fuses and trip circuit breakers.
This situation resulted in the county’s Demonrat bureaucrats and politicians ordering the owners who were without head and electricity to vacate their homes! They chose not to deal with the criminal army occupying the premises who had caused the problem for obvious reasons (danger, don’t you know!) The local government and even the police insisted they weren’t going to criminalize the “unhoused.”
These same “unhoused” regularly assaulted residents, started fires while featuring a parade of prostitutes turning tricks, drug dealers driving luxury vehicles, and making clear that the area had become the MS-13 gang’s territory! Essentially the Democrats allowed an army of narco-terrorists to build their own shantytown at the expense of local black citizens. The real estate company managing the condo complex has repeatedly tried to get the police and local officials to address this dangerous situation, even offering to pay off-duty police officers and private security forces to provide security, but apparently, neither have any interest in confronting the well-armed MS-13 gang!
After failing to get police and county officials to take action against the criminals, the real estate company stopped repairing broken door locks because the damage was simply ongoing and could not be addressed. How are residents to survive when even the police fear for their safety? County officials are more interested in punishing the residents and the managing real estate company than evicting the criminals. This is obvious as Democrat officials have threatened to sue condo management for failing to fix the millions of dollars in property damage the criminal gangs have caused. Permitting and inspection boards have issued an onslaught of citations that have bankrupted the condo management’s budget. So many wires have been installed above ground to steal electricity and/or keep space heaters working that the local fire chiefs have hit the condo management/association with additional citations. Banks are unwilling to finance any security improvements as no such “improvements” can work without police involvement. The property’s insurance carrier has canceled coverage for obvious reasons.
And because building inspectors have deemed many units unfit for human habitation, the county Democrats are trying to enforce evacuation orders against many condo owners. Meanwhile, the Dems running the county’s social services division continue to deliver food to the homeless camp, effectively incentivizing the all the criminal activity. At this point some condo units have had their roofs cave in! This entire tableau is a demonstration of the demonrat brand of unadulterated kafkaesque craziness in a nutshell. Aiding and abetting crime is tantamount to official democrat policy, and this situation is an example of allowing international criminal gangs to take over and do as they please. Imagine how much worse it would be if the borders remained non-existent and nobody was being deported!
When the most democratic voting county in the country allows its leaders to turn the social order into disorder and anarchy, we see there is no limit to how much damage the democrats are willing to inflict upon citizens all across the country should they gain the upper hand.
