Cry Baby Cry; Nobody is Listening
The crybaby U.S. Catholic Bishops sued the Trump administration on Tuesday over its decision to end funding of refugee resettlement, calling the action unlawful and harmful to newly arrived refugees and to the nation’s largest private resettlement program.
In reality, they could care less about the refugees. What they really are concerned about is the drain on their collective pocketbooks once the resettlement business dries up under Trump. And let’s be honest here. They call it resettlement but what it’s really all about is human trafficking for the benefit of rich corporations in need of cheap labor. That’s what my book, Stealth Invasion, was all about — the exploitation of global refugees for the enrichment of transnational corporations and globalist politicians and NGOs.
According to the Associated Press, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops says the Trump administration, by withholding millions for reimbursements of costs incurred before the sudden cut-off of funding, violates various laws as well as the constitutional provision giving the power of the purse to Congress, which already approved the funding.
According to the lawsuit, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has sent layoff notices to 50 resettlement workers, more than half its staff, with hundreds of additional pink slips expected to be handed out at local Catholic Charities offices that partner with the national office.
The Catholic Bishops have raked in billions of dollars in taxpayer funding over the years since it first started contracting with the U.S. State Department to resettle foreign refugees, many of them from countries in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa, including Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Bangladesh, Kosovo, Ukraine and the list goes on.
U.S. foreign policy works in many of these countries and regions, often with CIA involvement and taxpayer money channeled through USAID, agitating and stirring up wars, coups, and revolutions. After a country is destabilized and destroyed by the wars and revolts, then U.S. companies then get showered with lucrative contracts to go in and rebuild.
Congress, through the Refugee Act of 1980 signed by former President Jimmy Carter, then funds refugees to be airlifted out of the destabilized country to the United States, where they are handed off to NGOs like Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services. The NGOs immediately sign the refugees up for all manner of federal and state welfare programs and place their children in our public schools. Not long after, it’s not uncommon for locals to see a mosque built in their small city or town that heretofore had been a typical American place. Now, they see women in hijabs at the local Walmart and see favoritism in the schools granted to Muslim kids who must be allowed to pray three times a day in a special prayer room set aside just for them. School bathrooms are suddenly outfitted with special foot-washing basins. Bibles aren’t allowed but Qurans are.
The refugee resettlement program is a win-win for a select group of transnational corporations that benefit from the cheap labor at home, or those that get the lucrative rebuilding contracts abroad, while jihadists hoping to infiltrate America also benefit. It’s also a major financial boon for the Catholic Church and several other religiously based NGOs that operate in the resettlement business. Those include Lutheran Social Services (migration division), Episcopal Migration Services, World Relief (a division of National Association of Evangelicals), Church World Services (an arm of the World Council of Churches) and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.
The biggest loser is the American taxpayer.
Even if Trump gets away with defunding this insidious resettlement program, it will likely start right back up the moment he leaves office if Congress does not rescind the Refugee Act of 1980.
Anyone who tries to spiritualize this corrupt program and say it’s a matter of doing our Christian duty to help the stranger, is blowing spiritual smoke to the masses. They can cite all the Bible verses they want but nowhere in Holy Scripture does it say we have an obligation to import foreigners to our country from halfway around the world, or invite them to come through an open border, and give them special perks that native-born citizens aren’t entitled to. And in the process of receiving all the handouts and favors, we don’t require these refugees to assimilate or adopt American values. That’s a recipe for national suicide. And since nations are ordained by God I don’t believe he blesses this type of stupidity. That’s why Europe is dying. America will die too if it keeps this up, but it will take a little longer since we are a much bigger country and have not been importing hostile cultures for quite as long as countries like France and Germany.
