Ending the Grip of the Neo-Cons

Ending the Grip of the Neo-Cons

Col. Doug Macgregor was talking with Andrew Napolitano the other day – the day after Trump channeled his inner Chimp and “regime changed” Venezuela on behalf of (among others) his big business buddies in the oil and other natural resources extraction businesses – when he mentioned what RFK, Jr. said to a crowd at a Trump rally back in 2024. It is worth remembering:

Don’t you want a president, Kennedy asked, who will “end the grip of the neocons?”

By which he meant the Israel Firsters who pretend to be “conservative” so long as it advances the interests of Israel.

These IF’ers used to be (overtly) Trotskyite Leftists when the Cold War was still being fought but had to pretend to support the American side in that Cold War because the Soviet side was providing aid to Israel’s opponents in the Middle East, especially Egypt during the Nasser era. How to stymie that? By infiltrating the American government – posing as staunch opponents of the Soviet Union!

Voila, “neoconservatism” was born.

These “neocons” – the Kristols, the Podhoretzes, the Wurmsers and Feiths, along with the Kagans, Nulands, Chertoffs and Boltons and Cheneys – acquired operative control of “conservatism” about 26 years ago, when their chosen goy, George W. Bush ascended to the presidency in the very sketchy 2000 election, which everyone has forgotten.

These “neocons” were the chief architects of the so-called “War on Terror” – a term coined by Benny “Netanyahu,” incidentally. The air fingers quotes are to mark the habitual use of etymological deception to further the aims of “neoconservatism.” They told us about “weapons of mass destruction” and “mushroom clouds.” They succeeded in getting America to regime change Iraq on behalf of Israel in the wake of “911,” which became a kind of trigger word that compelled reflexive expressions of support for the “War on Terror” that terrorized Americans, in their new “Homeland.”

Syria got regime-changed, too. And now, Venezuela. Col. Macgregor mentioned to Napolitano that – apparently – one of the first figures to publicly congratulate the Orange Man for regime-changing Venezuela was Nathan Rothschild.

But wasn’t the Orange Man re-elected to – among other things – end the grip of the neocons?

Well, that’s certainly what many (probably most) of the people who voted for Trump a second time expected was going to happen. Turns out they expected wrong. It ought not to be surprising. If anything, it ought to have been expected – because Trump has never been an America Firster anymore than “necons” are conservatives, except when it is situationally convenient because pretending to be one advances other interests. A particular interest.

Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin, for instance.

The interests of Trump and the “neocons” are congruent because both are Israel-Firsters. Trump is not only no-longer-evasive about this; he is belligerently open about it. He brags of his love for Israel; he croons lovey-dovey to uber Israelis such as Miriam Adelson, in public – indifferent (perhaps oblivious) to the way this is received by Americans who do not believe Israel or any other foreign country ought to come first.

It’s not what Americans voted for – but it is what America got.

What else are Americans going to get?

Probably regime-change in Iran, on behalf of Israel. Maybe the regime-change in Venezuela was the prelude to this, done in order to assure the oil flows when the oil in the Middle East stops flowing.

An attempt to regime-change Iran could trigger a chain of events Americans will not like. The Iranians were able to give as good as they got the last time, when Israel (by itself, sort of – using weapons systems Americans were taxed to provide) began letting fly at the Iranians. Imagine a scenario in which the Iranians give back better. It is possible they have acquired the means to do just that. Of course, if they do, the state of Israel will likely exercise its Samson Option, with the nuclear weapons it pretends not to have, that were acquired illegally.

One thing we’re not supposed to know is that the other Kennedy – JFK – attempted to prevent that from happening, by pressuring the leaders of that state to come clean (via inspections) regarding what they were doing at Dimona.

And just like that, no more JFK.

In his place, a true friend of Israel, Lyndon Johnson – who threatened the survivors of the Israeli attack upon the USS Liberty with dire repercussions if they ever said a public word about what the Israeli air force did to an American ship and to American sailors.

Jack Rubenstein also did a favor for LBJ, by making sure the patsy never talked.

We’re all the patsies now.

Just look at what we elected.
