Father of MN Trans Shooter Was CIA Developer

The Minnesota shooter’s’ father was a CIA Senior Applications Developer for Esri, a geospatial intelligence. He developed the very mechanisms that the government employs to track and predict human behavior.
The alleged gunman, Robert Westman, is the son of James Westman, whose resume reads more like a who’s-who of defense and intelligence contracting than that of a suburban IT professional.
Westman worked as a contractor for the CIA and the Department of Defense for 28 years, holding high-level positions.
He most recently worked as a Senior Applications Developer for Esri, a geospatial intelligence behemoth whose mapping software is utilized by Google, the Pentagon, DHS, and almost all of the major Western surveillance programs.

The foundation of GPS tracking, defense intelligence, and satellite ground mapping is Esri’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology.
Simply said, Esri technologies are essential to any government’s efforts to monitor populations, map battlefields, or track movement.
The business even takes pride in its close ties to American intelligence services.
This goes beyond simply saying “dad worked in tech.” This father developed the very mechanisms that the government employs to track and forecast human behavior.

Furthermore, these relationships have previously been discovered.
Scholars have identified an odd trend:
The patterns are clear as day.
- The father of Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza was a high-level executive in global finance with defense ties.
- The father of Aurora theater shooter James Holmes worked on algorithms for DARPA and major defense contractors.
- Even the Unabomber’s family was tied to Cold War defense projects.

The family of a mass shooter now appears in the realm of military intelligence and geolocation monitoring once more.
Is it a coincidence?
Or are we witnessing yet another instance of a troubling trend, where the children of people with strong ties to the state wind up at the epicenter of mayhem, neatly igniting fresh demands for increased federal power, gun control, and surveillance?
The media remains mute about these ties, as usual. Neither CNN, the New York Times, or NPR will delve into James Westman’s Esri-CIA-Pentagon past.
Rather, they never pay attention to the underlying network, simply the spectacle of disaster.
The Minnesota shooting, however, fits a terrifying profile for those who are paying attention.
It is unclear if these violent episodes are genuinely random or the result of the very structures put in place to govern society.
