And now, one of the suspected ringleaders is behind bars, with a $15 million bond hanging over his Marxist head. That’s the highest bail ever set for a captured Antifa terrorist in US history.

Federal prosecutors said attackers drew the agents out of an Ice detention center in Alvarado, Texas, with fireworks and by vandalizing vehicles. They allegedly shot a police officer in the neck and unloaded between 20 and 30 rounds on immigration agents, and were later apprehended by local law enforcement near the scene.
“It was a planned ambush with the intent to kill Ice correction officers,” said Nancy Larson, US attorney for the northern district of Texas, at a press conference on Monday. “Make no mistake, this was not a so-called peaceful protest – it was indeed an ambush.”

Armed and dangerous North Texas Antifa gunman fugitive Benjamin Song has just been captured, and two more of his comrades have been charged for allegedly abetting his escape.
Benjamin Hanil Takeshi Song, 32, had been evading arrest from the FBI following the ambush shooting on the Prairieland Detention Center, an ICE facility, on the Fourth of July. Between 20 and 30 rounds were fired at the agents and responding police in Alvarado, Texas. One local officer was shot in the neck and survived.
11 members or associates of the heavily armed cell have been federally charged so far with attempted murder and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence. They also face local terrorism charges. At least 14 firearms have been recovered in the investigation, in addition to a cache of ammunition and body armor.

This case is a wake-up call, not just about Antifa, but about how dangerous the left’s soft-on-crime policies really are and how they’ve allowed this type of domestic violence to grow and flourish.
For years, radical district attorneys and Dem politicians have treated bail like some kind of injustice. They claim it’s unfair, outdated, or racist. Bail exists to protect the public from dangerous people. And when you strip that away in the name of some goofy political “reform,” you’re unleashing violent criminals back into communities. This seems to be the left’s vision for America.
Furthermore, Antifa is not some wacky idea, as Joe Biden once absurdly claimed. It’s a real, organized network of violent anarchists who dress in black, destroy cities, and now, attempt to murder federal agents in broad daylight.

This group has been torching cities, attacking cops, and waging war on America for years, and the media still treats them like angsty baristas with too many piercings and pent-up anger. But what just happened in Texas should make it crystal clear: this is a violent, radical network, and they are not playing games.
Parts of Portland have already turned into lawless no-go zones, where spoiled white Marxists rule the streets like little warlords in skinny jeans. Businesses have picked up and fled, locals are scared to death, and police barely show their faces, while these black-clad terrorists do whatever they want. That’s not a protest movement.
