Is Israel Losing Its Stranglehold on American Politics?

For decades, Israel and its American lobby have gotten away with murder unpunished. While stealing money from American taxpayers to finance their genocide against Palestine, the Israelis have exerted enormous pressure on American politicians to enable their crimes. With the carrot of campaign money and the stick of assassinations— Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson is the most recent prominent figure to openly declare that Netanyahu ordered the murder of Charlie Kirk and that Israel killed JFK —the Zionist cowboys have been driving their American goyim cattle before them for more than half a century, as Revilo P. Oliver explained in 1981.
But Israel’s dominance over the United States will not last forever. It is even possible that it will not last even ten years, as a landslide in public opinion forces politicians to reconsider their submission to a genocidal foreign entity, writes Kevin Barrett .
Since late 2023, when Israel began flattening Gaza, American public opinion has radically shifted against Israel and in favor of the Palestinians. Today, more than 60% of Americans hold an unfavorable view of Israel—a figure that would have been unthinkable ten years ago. Moreover, the anti-Israeli trend is strongest among young Americans. Nowadays, it is not only the vast majority of Democrats who hold a negative view of Israel, but also a majority of Republicans under 50. A recent Pew poll found that 57 percent of Republicans under 50 and 84 percent of Democrats hold a negative view of Israel.
Congress, once remotely controlled by Israel, is becoming increasingly contested territory. On April 16, the Senate voted 59 to 40 against a bill that would have blocked the sale of military equipment to Israel. The vote “shows enormous cracks in the political pillar supporting the American-Israeli alliance,” according to Beth Miller of Jewish Voices for Peace.
The 75-year-old minority leader Chuck Schumer was one of the few Democrats who broke away and voted pro-Israel. Schumer’s loyalty to the genocidal Zionist entity led to calls for his resignation by younger party members : “Mr. Schumer, you are far removed from this party’s base and from your own caucus. Resign,” tweeted Ro Khanna.
The Republicans unfortunately voted unanimously to supply bombs and bulldozers to Israel to commit genocide in both Lebanon and Palestine, against both Christians and Muslims.
But an uprising is brewing within the GOP, led by Congresswomen like Thomas Massie and former Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz, driven by a growing awareness of Israel’s atrocities among Republicans under 50.
In several major state and federal election races, “America First” challengers are taking on incumbent politicians serving Israel. In Florida, gubernatorial candidate James Fishback has caused excitement among young voters by opposing not only Zionism but also Jewish supremacism. Famous podcaster Dan Bilzerian has made even more ‘un-woke’ statements in his primary battle against fanatically pro-genocide Congressman Randy Fine. Joe Oltmann , gubernatorial candidate in Colorado, is, like Bilzerian, not afraid to use strong language when denouncing Jewish supremacism. And in South Carolina, Tucker Carlson-backed Paul Dans has withdrawn to give Mark Lynch the chance to lead an “America First” challenge against Senator Lindsey Graham, the blackmail and pedophilia suspect widely seen as the most disgusting symbol of Israel’s grip on America. (Unfortunately, Lynch repeats anti-Islam slogans devised in Israel, leading some observers to wonder whether he is an example of “controlled opposition”.)
While the older generation of Israeli-controlled Republicans battles younger ‘antisemitic’ challengers, anti-Israel Democrats are taking over their party. In Michigan, congressional candidate Abdul El-Sayed , a Midwestern version of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is neck and neck with two Israeli-funded candidates, while Donavan McKinney challenges AIPAC-controlled Rep. Shri Thanedar. Meanwhile, a growing stream of incumbent Democrats is joining the “Squad” (Tlaib, Omar, Lee, Jayapal, Casar, Pressley, Ramirez, Pocan) in their refusal to accept money from AIPAC. Among the anti-AIPAC converts are Cory Booker (D-NJ), Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), Chris Murphy (D-CT), Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), Seth Moulton (D-MA), and Valerie Foushee (D-NC). Presumptive presidential candidate Gavin Newsom, and even pro-Israel Jews Josh Shapiro and JB Pritzger, have shocked analysts by rejecting AIPAC funding.
This anti-Israeli shift in American politics is taking place despite the increasingly frantic attempts by the traditional media to protect Netanyahu and his cronies from the ongoing reputational damage they are inflicting upon themselves. The mainstream media is indeed falling increasingly under the sway of radical Zionist extremists, now that pro-genocide writer Bari Weiss is taking the helm at CBS, while her boss, the equally genocidal billionaire Larry Ellison, is swallowing up an ever-larger share of the mainstream media by merging Paramount with Warner Brothers, buying up TikTok, and generally establishing a Big Brother-like dominance over the entire traditional media landscape.
But young people ignore traditional media. They love independent voices, whether it be former MSM figures like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens on the right, the Young Turks on the left, or Joe Rogan in the center. These voices, not in the hands of Zionists, are leading a media revolution that is helping Americans shake off decades of Israeli occupation.
