Israel’s Next War Will Likely be Against Turkey and Egypt, Says Jonathan Pollard

Never mentioned in the news media is Israel’s Greater Israel project.
Jonathan Pollard, the American who spied on behalf of Israel and who reportedly recently met in secret with Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, said in a podcast for Arutz Sheva that Israel will likely soon have to prepare for a war with Turkey and Egypt — which is why Tel Aviv must defeat Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas in this round of fighting.
“I’m not so sure that we will have as easy a time with the Turks as we’ve had with the Iranians,” he said. The interviewer interjected and noted that Turkey is considered to have the strongest army in the Middle East, and Pollard responded: “The storm is coming.”
Pollard said he looks at Iran as a problem that Israel “absolutely has to finish,” along with Gaza and Hezbollah (in Lebanon).
“Why am I fixated on this now? Because we have to be prepared for the next war, which will likely be against Turkey and Egypt.”
The Israelis are no longer trying to hide the fact that they will not stop the land theft in southern Lebanon and Gaza. (Here’s Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stating today that it needs to be a slow process in Gaza.) The New York Times reported today that Israel carried out airstrikes on Beirut for the first time in months. The report noted that Netanyahu said earlier this week that the IDF was “deepening its operation” inside Lebanon. (MARANDI GAVE AN UPDATE ON THE WAR EARLIER THIS WEEK).
We reported in November when it emerged that Pollard, the American who spied on behalf of Israel, held a secret meeting with Huckabee, prompting swift criticism from Democrats.
Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, posted on X that Pollard is a convicted traitor who “provided highly sensitive national security information to the Israeli government. He did grave harm to our country. He has never shown a degree of remorse for his crimes. It’s unacceptable that Ambassador Huckabee secretly met with Mr. Pollard, a convicted traitor, at the United States Embassy.”
The New York Times, citing unnamed sources, reported at the time that it is unclear why Huckabee and David Milstein, his senior adviser and Mark Levin’s stepson, and is seen as another pro-Israel hawk, met with the former spy.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president, has been criticized for what has been seen as his inaction to intervene in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. He has, at times, talked tough, but did nothing.
Israel Katz, the Israeli foreign minister, posted an image on X showing Erdogan and Saddam Hussein with the comment, “Erdogan is following Saddam Hussein’s path and threatens to attack Israel. He needs to remember what happened there and how it ended.”
In March, Erdogan threatened to “send [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu to Allah” over the Gaza genocide, prompting Israel to summon the Turkish deputy ambassador over the comment.
Erdogan told a crowd on Thursday, “I’m leaving the person called Netanyahu in the Lord’s hands.” He then added, “May the Lord damn him.”
Iran Update
You guessed it! Axios reported today that a deal between the U.S. and Iran was all but completed. Barak Ravid posted: “Scoop: U.S. and Iran reach deal but need Trump’s final approval, two U.S. officials and a regional source involved in the mediation efforts told me.”
The Hormuz Letter posted a few hours later: “Iran rejects today’s Axios report claiming a US-Iran deal or MOU has been reached, saying “Axios is fake news” and Iran “will not sign any agreement that does not align with our interests,” explicitly rejecting the current deal terms. Iran also does not accept the proposed 60 day ceasefire extension due to continued violations of it and will “respond to any further violation of the ceasefire,” per two members inside the negotiations. Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has also not approved or agreed to the proposed agreement and terms.
Amos Hochstein, a former diplomat, told CNBC today that the “Iranians will control the Strait of Hormuz for the foreseeable future,” and any other narrative is false.
Greater Israel
Bezalel Smotrich, the extremist Israeli finance minister, has said it is “written” that Israel’s future is its expansion to Damascus and parts of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, according to a French documentary titled: “Israel: Extremists in Power.”
