Lady Justice is Just a Call Girl

On June 11, 2024, a Dutch court sentenced Gideon van Meijeren to 200 hours of community service, commuted to three months in prison. On January 28 and 29, a year and a half later, the case will be heard at the Court of Appeal in The Hague, the self-proclaimed “City of International Peace and Justice.”
Mr. Van Meijeren is a member of the House of Representatives for the FvD (Forum for Democracy) party, which is considered far-right by the Dutch elite and mainstream media. However, this qualification is clearly a gross exaggeration. FvD is the only political party in the country that defends the public interest, as it is based on traditional values and common sense. It rejects wokeism, climate madness, and LGBTQRSTUVWYYZ nonsense, while the other parties in the country are WEF puppets, writes Hans Vogel .
For what terrible crime was Gideon van Meijeren convicted?
For incitement to violence during a speech he gave in 2022, addressed to farmers protesting the government’s “climate policy.” Under new government measures intended to reduce carbon dioxide and nitrogen emissions from agriculture and livestock farming, farmers were being pushed toward insolvency and bankruptcy. Many would be forced to sell the farms where they were born and where their families had lived for generations. In other words, government policy was disastrous for agriculture and therefore also for national food production.
The government’s original policy goals, as formulated by the cabinet then led by Mark Rutte (currently NATO Secretary General), were quite moderate. But the “Green” European Commissioner, the Dutch Social Democrat Frans Timmermans , pushed for a more aggressive “climate policy.” Through NGOs subsidized with EU taxpayers’ money, he tried to push through stricter measures, after making backroom deals with the Dutch cabinet. These NGOs then initiated legal proceedings against the Dutch government in Dutch courts, which duly issued the necessary rulings demanding stricter standards for nitrogen and CO2 emissions.
This whole setup was chosen by the Rutte cabinet so that it could say that it was only carrying out court orders, and thus avoid public criticism of itself.
The only criticism came from the farmers and the FvD.
In his speech to the farmers, Van Meijeren said: “Protest and resistance must always be peaceful and nonviolent. I strongly believe in that, and I say it from my deepest conviction. I believe that nonviolent resistance is the most effective and ultimately the most powerful weapon we have against our opponents. In that regard, I have also made it very clear that nonviolent resistance can still be strong, massive, and militant, and that it must be. (…) All of this is absolutely necessary, because otherwise they will never move. Otherwise, they won’t move an inch. (…) They must feel how deep our frustration is, how deep our pain and sorrow is. (…) It is also important to realize that in a democracy, it is not always healthy when violence is taboo. The state itself uses violence, even excessive violence, when it deems it necessary. If you are on the verge of being dispossessed but refuse to cooperate, you can be sure that vans will eventually arrive with men with batons and helmets, and they will forcibly remove you from your land. The position I now take This is entirely compatible with democracy, as the United States, for example, has the Second Amendment as a guarantee that citizens are able to defend themselves if absolutely necessary. And don’t forget: even the Dutch Criminal Code makes an exception for the use of force. Article 141 of the Criminal Code stipulates that force is permitted if it is necessary to protect one’s own or another’s physical safety, sexual integrity, or property against an unlawful attack.
For saying this publicly, a Member of Parliament was sentenced to three months in prison. Only a complete idiot would consider this incitement to violence.
But because Gideon van Meijeren is one of the most outspoken and combative FvD members, and immensely popular among younger audiences, his speech caused considerable unrest among the elites. He is an experienced lawyer himself and has always been very cautious in his public statements, but his popularity, eloquence, and youthful energy have made him the target of a sinister lawfare operation.
What can be concluded from this?
The essential and most impartial conclusion is that the Dutch judicial system is not independent. In fact, it has long been rotten to the core. The Public Prosecution Service receives its mandates from the government and works hand in hand with the judges. There are eleven district courts, four courts of appeal, and one Supreme Court, staffed by 2,600 full-time professional judges and hundreds of part-time judges, recruited from the 20,000 sworn lawyers in the country. Since 2009, more than half of all professional judges have been women. Some have no objection to combing their blond hair or applying makeup while the hearing is in session. Many others, like modern women, wear visible tattoos (like prostitutes of the past) and gold anklets under their robes. Although there is no hard data on the political affiliation of judges, it is common knowledge (and never disputed) that most are affiliated with the D66 party, which is considered “left-liberal.”
Although the elite, the state broadcaster, and the local press never cease to emphasize that the Dutch judicial system is independent and exemplary, it is, in reality, a government agency consisting of show trials. In other words: there is no real justice in the Netherlands. Of course, there is “Dutch justice,” but since the adjective “Dutch” negates the noun that follows it, as in “Dutch courage,” it is not, in fact, justice.
It would be a mistake to think the Netherlands is unique in this regard. While the EU’s MSM likes to emphasize that justice doesn’t exist in Russia, Africa, Asia, and Latin America—essentially everywhere outside the American empire—this is completely false.
Lawsuits against anyone who dares to challenge the state are commonplace throughout Europe. Victims include politicians, journalists, comedians, activists, doctors, and others. The case against Julian Assange in Sweden and England is infamous. Since then, cases have been filed against politician Dries van Langenhove in Belgium, politician Marine Le Pen and comedian Dieudonné Mbala Mbala in France, activist Rainer Fuellmich and doctor Sucharit Bhakdi in Germany, the independent news outlet AUF1 in Austria, presidential candidate Calin Georgescu in Romania, and hundreds of others across the EU and the UK. Lawfare is indeed deeply entrenched.
In the US, the situation seems hardly better, as American judges never hesitate to try foreigners who have not committed any crime on US soil, such as Panama’s Noriega and Venezuela’s Maduro. Perhaps it’s not so bad in the US after all, since juries there decide whether a defendant is guilty or not, not judges as in continental Europe, where codified law inspired by Rome prevails.
Yet there is only one major conclusion to be drawn from all of the above:
Lady Justice is merely a call girl.
