Neo-Cons are Gonna Neo-Con
Motormouth Sean Hannity refers to radio and TV host Mark Levin as “The Great One,” a moniker the pompous Levin has certainly never discouraged anyone from using.
Like Hannity and many other “conservatives” who are better described as neo-conservatives, Levin is a strong interventionist when it comes to Ukraine and the Middle East, in sharp contrast to most of the MAGA base. Thus it was no surprise when Levin attacked President Trump’s peace efforts to bring the senseless and costly Ukraine-Russian war to an end.
Like his fellow neo-conservatives, Levin has an insatiable dislike of Russia and Vladimir Putin. The whole point of the war the Biden Cabal was waging on behalf of Ukraine was based on weakening Russia and Putin’s position of power, neither of which were accomplished and won’t be. Neo-cons still harken back to the discredited “Wolfowitz Doctrine,” developed in 1992 back when Bush Sr. was bleating in his inarticulate way about a “new world order,” following the easy smashing of Saddam Hussein and his military.

The Wolfowitz Doctrine holds that the Empire of Lies must insure that no rivals develop anywhere else in the world, in perpetuity. The dominant foreign policy employed toward Russia since the end of the USSR has been pursued with the aim of keeping it weak, and ideally broken into many component parts, the better for its resources to be controlled and exploited by the large corporations of the military-industrial complex.
Needless to say, while Russia was indeed quite weak under the drunkard Boris Yeltsin in the 1990s as oligarchs freely plundered the country – similar to how oligarchs freely plundered America while Joe Biden pretended to be President before the re-election of Donald Trump – once Putin came to power in 1999 and stopped the oligarchs in their tracks, Russia has been on the road to recovery. Endless sanctions have not had their intended effect, and hundreds of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars funneled to Ukraine – a good portion of which may have never even reached that godforsaken land of corruption – has not changed the reality that Russia is winning its conflict with Ukraine and will continue to win. Which is why President Trump’s moves of late have been right on the money.
As quoted by Mediaite.com, Levin ranted: “Now look, I don’t have a problem if it’s the position of our administration to cut back on support for Ukraine — which I oppose, by the way — then so be it. Elections have consequences, so be it. But I want to make sure the facts are on the table and you, the American people, draw your own conclusion,” began Levin, submitting that “MAGA doesn’t support Putin.”
“Zelensky ordered martial law — that’s what the constitution there compelled. Zelensky hasn’t called for an election — that’s what the constitution there compels.” he continued. “Now, I’m waiting for the first free election for Vladimir Putin. I mean, this is almost comical in a sick way that Putin is demanding an election. Why is he demanding an election in Ukraine when he doesn’t have free and real elections in his own country? And why does he-, why does he get to call the shots when in fact, he murders people who dare to challenge him?”
“This is what we’re dealing with. Again, old KBG, and not just KBG, he [Putin] was in like Flynn with the Stasi in East Germany. So, I don’t know why there are people that not only oppose Zelensky, but seem to support Putin,” said Levin, attributing said position to a handful of pseudo-intellectuals” pushing “policies that in many ways are un-American in my view, and policies that if they had espoused these policies not that long ago, people would have wondered if they were on the take, or who they’re working for, something like that. Not that they are, but they would wonder.”
Saying “MAGA doesn’t support Putin,” is likely true, but it’s a verbal sleight of hand. What MAGA doesn’t support is sending still more billions of taxpayer dollars to the Ukrainian rathole. It’s obscene that $300 billion or so went to Ukraine and various U.S. grifters at the same time the Biden criminal regime was eagerly letting some 10 or 15 million illegals in through the southern border.
And Putin has indeed been elected and re-elected, and doesn’t go around “murdering” people. It’s the U.S. Empire, that has been involved in non-stop wars since the end of WWII, that has caused the death of millions.
Will “The Great One” next be proclaiming the obvious ridiculous lie that Putin wants to conquer Europe, that he’s just itching to engage various NATO countries? It’s cartoonish propaganda that a large and growing number of Americans are rejecting, just as they should be rejecting discredited neo-con dinosaurs like Mark Levin.
