New Shocking Details Emerge About Deep State’s Favorite Judge, James Boasberg
There’s a reason the name Judge James Boasberg keeps popping up every time the Deep State pulls another rabbit out of its hat. From Russiagate to FISAgate, from Ray Epps to the J6 show trials, Boasberg’s ghoulish fingerprints are all over the weapons used to attack President Trump and the America First movement for nearly a decade now.
Boasberg supporters like to say he’s “just doing his job.” But when that “job” always involves running cover for Democrats, Deep State operatives, and corrupt bureaucrats… while hammering Trump allies… it’s not exactly hard to connect the dots.
And that brings us to the latest twist in this ongoing judicial saga. What investigative journalist Sundance just uncovered ties it all together with a big bow on top. If you thought Judge Boasberg was an activist before, you might now see him as one of the Deep State’s most key players.
And as you read this very detailed X post, pay close attention to who always seems to rush to Boasberg’s defense… none other than Chief Justice John Roberts. The same day President Trump suggested Boasberg should be impeached for his slew of crazy, biased rulings, Roberts issued a rare public statement shielding him.
The timing alone speaks volumes. When the heat gets too close to the Deep State’s judicial firewall, Roberts always seems to show up with a bucket of ice water to throw on the situation.
But the real bombshell here is that Boasberg was the one who gave Jack Smith and his cronies the green light to spy on Congress.
Judge James Boasberg signed off on the search warrants against congress.
Boasberg issued blanket orders to the cell phone companies not to reveal the search warrants.
Boasberg is a FISA Court Judge.
Boasberg authorized one of the Carter Page title-1 surveillance warrants.
Boasberg hired Mary McCord as amicus to the court.
After appointing Mary McCord to take up a defensive position for herself and the FISA Court (cover), Judge Boasberg then becomes the presiding judge in the case against the FBI agent who falsified the FISA application, Kevin Clinesmith. Boasberg gives Clinesmith a slap on the wrist and a few months’ probation (more cover).
Boasberg told John Durham (Bill Barr) allowing a target to escape prosecution is part of the penalty upon the DOJ for wrongful assembly of the FISA application; a nice way to cover the issue.
This is the same Judge Boasberg gave J6 FBI agent provocateur Ray Epps a sentence of probation.
This is the same Judge Boasberg who established a horrible precedent by forcing Vice-President Mike Pence to testify before a DC grand jury about his conversations with President Trump (breaking executive privilege).
While on vacation, Boasberg attended the criminal indictment hearing of President Trump.
Judge Boasberg issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) blocking DHS, Customs and Border Patrol and ICE from deporting illegal aliens and narcotrafficking gang members belonging to Tren de Aragua (TdA), a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
There were calls for Boasberg to be impeached.
Immediately, the same day President Trump noted Boasberg should be impeached, Chief Justice John Roberts jumped to his defense:

Keep in mind, Mary McCord operates in all three branches of government: Deputy AAG in charge of the DOJ-NSD (executive); on both impeachment committees by Schiff/Nadler and the J6 committee of Thompson (legislative); as amicus to the FISA court (judicial). That’s why she is “untouchable.”

After Epps was finally charged—with a single count of disorderly conduct—he was rewarded with a wrist slap from Boasberg: one year of probation. No jail. No lectures. No talk about mobs or responsibility. Just a quiet walk out the back door.
Thanks to Boasberg, Ray Epps walked away unscathed. Meanwhile, people who did far less were dragged through the mud, lectured by Boasberg, and sentenced to time behind bars—including a non-violent older married couple, one of whom was battling a cancer diagnosis.
But the evidence of this dangerous double standard just keeps stacking up.
Eric Schmitt also points out that Boasberg wasn’t even the on-call judge for the infamous “gangbanger” case, but he still got it. How? Let’s be real; we all know this isn’t just some random glitch—it’s clearly a rigged process that’s being used to target conservatives while pretending to be somehow fair. And according to Schmitt, this isn’t new. It’s been going on for years in courts across the country.
Back in 2024, Boasberg’s dark, ominous shadow stretched even further… right into the classified documents case.
Investigative journalist Julie Kelly reported that Trump’s legal team was having trouble getting access to key grand jury evidence from Washington, DC…. and guess why? It’s because it was still under Boasberg’s seal. The entire investigation took place in a Trump-hating swamp courtroom under Boasberg’s watch, and DOJ holdovers were still running interference while pretending to “review” files for redactions.
Before I get to summary of afternoon proceedings in FLA classified docs hearing, I want to isolate this.
It appears that records related to the grand jury proceedings in DC on the classified docs case remain under seal and have not been transmitted to Judge Cannon or defense.
Recall that almost the entire investigation into the classified docs matter took place in Washington DC–not southern FLA even though it is the controlling jurisdiction since the alleged “crime” of retaining classified records/national defense info happened at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
DOJ then Jack Smith kept the case in Trump-hating DC courthouse so they could get favorable rulings from then-chief judge Beryl Howell–which they did.
For example, Howell cited the crime fraud exception to justify piercing atty-client privilege between Trump and his lawyer, Evan Corcoran, to force Corcoran to turn over his records to DOJ.
Highly unlikely that would have happened in FLA especially before Judge Cannon.
But right before indictment, Jack Smith moved the case to Florida. Reports at the time indicated DOJ read summaries of its grand jury evidence to a FLA grand jury in order to secure the indictment.
So, how is it almost nine months post-indictment that trove of evidence remains under seal?
When the issue was raised, David Harbach said DOJ was “in the process” of asking the current DC chief judge James Boasberg to review the file, add redactions if needed, and transmit to FLA court.
Suuuuure.
The patterns are clear to see. The DOJ gets its friendly rulings from Boasberg’s bench, moves the case to Florida when convenient, and keeps the evidence locked up tight. Meanwhile, the clock ticks, and the headlines pile up, which is exactly how the swamp likes it.
Also, let’s not forget… this is the same James Boasberg who presided over one of the biggest scandals in modern American history… the FISA abuse against President Trump’s campaign. Boasberg played cleanup for Comey, Mueller, and the DOJ, helping to bury documents that would have exposed just how coordinated the setup really was.
A federal judge has rejected requests from news organizations to release memos of former FBI Director James Comey’s conversations with President Donald Trump, adding that publicizing the documents could harm special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg on Friday sided with the Department of Justice after multiple news organizations, including CNN and USA Today, sued for the public release of Comey’s memos after their Freedom of Information Act requests were denied.
Boasberg agreed with DOJ’s contention that releasing any section of any of the memos, which detail nine conversations the then-FBI director had with Trump, could “could reveal sensitive nonpublic information and compromise the investigation.”
In his testimony before Congress, Comey said that he felt Trump, unlike previous presidents he worked with, might lie about their conversations and therefore he needed to keep a detailed record.
“I was honestly concerned he might lie about the nature of our meeting so I thought it important to document,” Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee last June. “That combination of things I had never experienced before, but had led me to believe I got to write it down and write it down in a very detailed way.”
Boasberg agreed with Comey that the very existence of the records is “rather unprecedented.”
