Pritzker Signs Bill Allowing Illegals to Teach Driving in Illinois
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker signed House Bill 3125 into law last year, extending rights after the state decided to permit unauthorized immigrants to get driver’s licenses. Undocumented immigrants will be able to teach driving thanks to HB 3125.
In 2013, Illinois led the country as one of the first states to issue temporary visitor driver’s licenses to help drivers who passed road tests regardless of immigration status.
The 2024 law allowed undocumented immigrants to receive standard IDs without the large purple mark stating not valid for identification.
House Bill 3125 will allow anyone with a TVDL for at least two years to teach driving courses.
Sponsors said this change will help expand the people eligible to become driving instructors without reducing qualifications for the job.
Harjinder Singh, an illegal alien truck driver, killed three people after making a risky U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce, highlighting the risks of illegals acquiring licenses.
This led to the dubious law signing.
The driver was unable to understand road signs and failed English, according to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
A deadly collision occurred last Tuesday when the Punjabi driver, who received his truck driving license (CDL) in the Democrat-run sanctuary states of California and Washington, executed a crazy U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike close to Fort Pierce.
Singh was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide after being taken into custody in Stockton, California.
He will be deported after his state charges are resolved. Dave Kerner, executive director of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, stated.
The legislation will become active on January 1, 2026.
