Who Needs White Nationalism?

In the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination, leftist influencers began either blaming the Right for most of the political violence in America or calling for both sides to turn down the heat. It was a profoundly ironic moment, one that, thankfully, most conservatives and right-wingers saw through fairly easily. Starting with all the violence committed by Antifa and Black Lives Matter during the Summer of Floyd and ending with the well-funded and ongoing paramilitary attacks on ICE facilities happening up to this very day—with the two attempts on Donald Trump’s life in between—the Left has been responsible for much more political violence and death in America than the Right. It’s not even close.

Yet, liars are gonna keep on lying.

If all the burned-out buildings and dead bodies weren’t enough proof, two recent and less-covered events should crystalize in anyone’s mind exactly how deep-rooted violence is within the mind of leftist radicals. The first occurred in early September when hundreds of Antifa rioters rolled out a guillotine while agitating outside of an ICE facility in Portland, Oregon. The rioters came with shields and other protective gear, and were taking part in day 86 of the violent and criminal anti-ICE occupation of the area surrounding the facility. After rolling out their beheading device, the rioters chanted, “We got the guillotine!” as if actually having the thing didn’t make it obvious enough.

The point of the guillotine, of course, is not to use it, but to intimidate and demoralize the Right and remind them of what their fate will be once Left takes over America. Despite promising a swift and merciful end to any and all back when it was invented in 1792, the guillotine today has become a symbol of leftist power. During the French Revolution, it was used to decapitate thousands of perceived enemies of the new French Republic, including the Jacobin leader Maximilien Robespierre.

So just take a step back and imagine the mindset it must require to bring a guillotine to a demonstration. No, it’s not enough to commit assault and ram ICE vehicles and fire live rounds into detention centers. No, no. They wish to make it abundantly clear that they intend to initiate another Reign of Terror as soon as bloody possible. There is no reasoning with people like this because they gave up on reason years ago. Nor is redemption or forgiveness in store for them. In their minds, they are not only at war, but they are fighting a war which is almost two-and-a-half centuries old.

The second instructive news item of the day took place on the other side of the country in Virginia. The campaign of Jay Jones, the Democratic candidate for Virginia Attorney General, hit a major snag just a few days ago when National Review published text messages Jones had sent to a Republican House delegate, Carrie Coyner, back in 2022. In them, he fantasized about murdering the then Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert, who is a Republican.

Jones (who is black) later doubled down in a phone call to Coyner:

According to the source, the Democratic former legislator doubled down on the call, saying the only way public policy changes is when policymakers feel pain themselves, like the pain that parents feel when they watch their children die from gun violence. He asked her to provide counterexamples to disprove his claim.

Then at one point, the source said, he suggested he wished Gilbert’s wife could watch her own child die in her arms so that Gilbert might reconsider his political views, prompting Coyner to hang up the phone in disgust.

The exchange ended after Jones continued texting Coyner about his hatred for Gilbert.

Afterward, Jones continued his barrage of text messages, saying he was just asking questions. Coyner dismissed his excuse via text and chastised Jones for “hopping [sic] Jennifer Gilbert’s children would die.”

Rather than deny that he had wished death on the children, Jones responded by saying, “Yes, I’ve told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy.”

Faced with more pushback from his frazzled former colleague, Jones somehow took the conversation a step further: “I mean do I think Todd and Jennifer are evil? And that they’re breeding little fascists? Yes,” he wrote, referring to Gilbert’s wife and two young children.

The fact that his happened is not terribly remarkable. Among the general populace, both sides of the political aisle have their hotheads—especially these days. But what’s truly remarkable is not only that one of these hotheads is running for office, but that his murderous hotheadedness has not ended his political career like it should have. Despite the GOP establishment from Trump on down calling for Jones to quit the race, Jones has refused to do so. I guess he figures he would be less able to kill Republicans if he did. Furthermore, Democrat leaders have not called on him to quit either. In fact, they are standing by him. These include both Virginia Senators, Mark Warner and former vice-presidential nominee Tim Kaine, as well as the current nominee for the Virginia governorship Abigail Spanberger. Spanberger herself refused to condemn her own campaign manager for celebrating Charlie Kirk’s assassination, so none of this should come as a surprise either. Also as expected, the national television media has barely covered the story at all, with NBC giving it only 63 seconds. To his credit, however, Joe Scarborough at MSNBC did call for Jones to step down.

This story is still ongoing, with Jones recently canceling a fundraiser and promising refunds to his donors. We’ll see on election day next month if Virginia citizens come to their senses and vote against murder.

Here we have two news items only a month apart which demonstrate the inherent violence of the leftist position. The want to kill conservatives and people on the Right. That’s all there is to it. In some ways, the Right can only blame itself if the hard Left ever takes control of America and starts implementing Soviet-style retribution against its perceived enemies. It’s not like we didn’t see the warning signs.

An additional irony is that you don’t need White Nationalism to notice this and want to separate from these people. If you are a normal, healthy person it’s just common sense. The Left has become something like an abusive ex-boyfriend who begs to still live in your house, then turns your basement into a skid-row-cum-death-cult while convincing his “guests” to hate you and try to kill you.

Why would anyone want to live with someone like that? Why would anyone want to share a country with people like that? Recently, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene once again called for a “national divorce,” which was seen by some as a sign of weakness given the current ascendancy of Donald Trump and the Republicans. But it’s still a good idea—Calexit, Red-State Secession, whatever you want to call it. The Left as embodied by today’s Democratic Party is unapologetically violent from the top down—from the murderous texts of its elected leaders to the guillotines of its black-clad foot soldiers. These are not fringe actors—and they are protected by the wholly complicit mainstream media. There is no fixing this. And there is only so much that law enforcement, the FBI, or the National Guard can do to stop it. Eventually things will come to a head. Eventually, it will boil down to force, a civil war. Not today or tomorrow, but sometime in the next few decades, well within the lifetimes of our children and grandchildren.

You don’t have to be a White Nationalist to realize this and want to take corrective measures now. But you know what? It would certainly help.
