Mask Off: Neo-Con Trump Admin Sends Hegseth Back to Biden-Era Ukraine Contact Group
Like all politicians in Washington, US President Trump simply told the public what they wanted to hear while continuing all the policies he was voted to end including ending endless wars and specifically the US proxy war in Ukraine;
▪️As pointed out before the 2024 election and during Secretary Pete Hegseth’s February speech at the Ukraine contact group, the US merely seeks to freeze the conflict, not end it, part of division of labor/strategic sequencing aimed at containing China first and then circling back to Russia – essentially Minsk 3.0;
▪️Frustrated by Russia’s refusal to agree to another pause, the US is now openly threatening Russia and escalating just as the Biden administration did;
▪️US is positioning Europe to fill the void Ukraine’s collapsing fighting capacity is creating, raising the possibility of direct conflict between Russia and Washington’s NATO front;
